@@Giblitzky the way Philly just pulled the goalie not knowing they were already eliminated and handing 8th to Washington was the most disappointing way for that playoff chase to end. I'm a Penguins fan, so I was watching diligently as well. Couldn't take my eyes off the screen that night

@brandon, definitely the first four. As for the others, Penguin fans are fair-weather,more than anything else. The second a star retires, their arena empties out (honorable mention,Capitals fans after Ovechkin retires),and there's talk about the team moving. Flyer fans have been quiet lately, but yeah I understand your posting about
them here. Going into any Philly arena in opposing teams' gear is rarely a good idea (somehow,Knicks fans got away with it,lol). Ranger fans tend to be way too negative on their own team (I guess 1 Cup in 84 years will do that to a fan base. They're just beaten down,and probably conditioned to expect the worst)
At this point it’s just sad for leaf fans and alot of them know it. The annoying thing is the constant media coverage, not the depressed fans lol

Nah dude. Oilers fans have to be the worst. All fanbases have annoying fans, but I go on twitter during the playoffs JUST to see Oilers fans meltdown. They are the absolute WORST when it comes to crying about officiating, and thinking every hit on their teams players are dirty hits. Against the Kings this season, I saw them calling for a suspension on two hits, one which was called a trip during the game, which is the right call, and another that was just a clean hit. So many just don't seem to actually understand the rules of the game, which is just WILD to me. They are just TOO bias, honestly. They think every hit against them is dirty, and then think that every hit they make is clean, and that if a penalty is called against the Oilers, it was because the other team dove. Which is the other thing...They act like the Oilers players never take dives...but like...ALL teams do it.
Oilers fans are 100% more annoying than Canucks fans.
Good for the panthers, Edmonton will come back next year. They were in Florida’s shoes last year, but they didn’t have a blow out like Vegas. Happy and proud for the Tkachukcs or whatever, good for y’all man

Surprised you didn't include the CBJ in those dumpster fire award nominations, that Babcock debacle had chaos award written all over it. Then you add Johnny Hockey setting course for the worst productive season of his carreer, you layer it with Jack Roslovic only traded for a 4th rounder in TWO years, you top it with a dash of Jarmo Kakelainen being given the boot, and you finally sprinkle it with Pascal Vincent demoted but not fired to keep paying his salary for nothing. But yeah, that cake was still more edible than the shit the Sabres fans got served, no contest there.
Hathaway is still a flyer for another year. Funny how no one tries to jump him. Does anyone remember when Deslauriers beat Reaves And he never returned to the game because of the injury!! Flyers still the toughest!!!

Also this season, we finally know all the players from the 2018 world junior incident. It’s highly likely that none of them ever play at the NHL level again.
Nor should they, IF the allegations are true. Being a professional athlete is being a role model to so many young children. I reserve judgement on the players; accusations are easy to make. If those players are guilty, I hope more than anything it can be shown and proven. I hope the truth is revealed.

I was literally thinking the same thing. Which got me thinking. Buffalo (coincidentally) should offer him a no-brainer contract. He will take them all the way to the Finals before losing, which is way better than missing the playoffs again.

This is what we say every single season oh this is one of the greatest seasons ever last year was this year was honestly one of the most boring hockey seasons I've seen in my lifetime and sorry to break it to you but the hockey is rigged and before anybody says anything think about this 7 Canadian teams against almost 30 American teams it's not divided evenly make an even more impossible for Canada to ever win again and I'm just saying when commissioner Bowman bought the NHL he said as long as he lives he will make sure no Canadian team wins again it was in his speech it's incredibly hard to find it but he does actually say it on video
