I love how you decorated that corner with the golden and white planters attached to one another (where your Rebecca, krohniana, etc. are living). What an amazing and cuuuuute way to use your space! I’ve been struggling to get ideas to maximize my space and decorate in a way that looks pretty. Thank you for sharing your space and showing your babies! ☮️💚
Thank you for your comment and glad you liked my decoration! 😊 I have explained more in details on my hanging pots in this video th-cam.com/video/0_6k9awnVUU/w-d-xo.html
An outstanding collection of plants! There were many Hoyas I have never seen growing out into a more mature state. You indeed have created a jungle vibe in your lovely home.
Fonnie I just love the aesthetic of your apartment with all your plants and I love the house plant tour videos you do! Here's a random question for you if you'd like to save it for a Q&A video- What got you into liking plants? Did you grow up with a lot of plants? 😄
Thank you for the kind compliment, Matt😊 it’s getting harder and harder to keep the aesthetic look with more and more plants🙈 thanks for the question! I’ll keep that in mind with the next Q&A😀
Your plant room is just breath taking. I have no idea how you manage to look after so many guys and keep them so beautiful and healthy. Just boggles my mind 🤯 In my experience, thrips are impossible to get rid of. At least with the products available here in Germany there is no getting rid of them for good. I can manage them by showering the plants and occasionally spraying them, but it will leave them oily looking and sticky. The best method is to otherwise keep the plant healthy so it can fight the thrips on its own. I don't know where these pests come from, I guess from outside? 🤷♀️ Thrips are literally the only pests I have to deal with, but they are enough 😕
Awwwww~~~ thank you for the compliment ☺️ I think the self watering setup helps a lot with the chores. I’m kinda lazy in winter to be honest, I only water all of them every 2 -2.5 weeks. Only need to pay closer attention to a few Hoyas with a large water root system in a smaller reservoir. Thrips are nightmare indeed. In my experience, if you only see black adults, it’s alright, showering + spraying neem oil kinda work. But once you see larvae, it’s reaching the end game 🙃
Hello, absolutely luv when u tour ur beautiful plants with updates.( especially Hoyas) After watching, I searched for a Heuschkeliana variegata & Sigillatis & hooray I found them both. What kind of lighting do u give ur Heuschkeliana variegata? Any morn. sun at all ? Thank U this is my 3rd plant I have purchased from watching ur video & being introduced to unfamiliar Hoyas.
Thank you for the kind words, Dorothy☺️🌸🌱 hehe~~ I also got myself into a 200+ Hoya collector from watching YT videos🤭 be careful 🙈 My heuschkeliana variegated has direct morning sunlight from 8-12 in winter time🌱😊
@@tfyfonnie Thank you very much for your answer. I have bought the fertilizer. I still have one question for you. Do you use this fertilizer as a leaf spray or do you also water your plants with it (Pon)?
@@tfyfonnie Thank you for your answer. I also use the fertiliser for watering and always leave some water in the pot. But now I have the following problem that the pH value in the pot always changes from 5.5 to 7.0, no matter which plant I use. This does not happen to me with fertiliser from general hydroponics, for example.
Do you have any info about that is it still Hoya sigillatis or should it be called hasseltii.. or are they actually two different plants? I see different names used in different sites. Also I love that hoya plate setup! 🤩Gives me ideas about displaying my hoyas

Queenn what fertilizer do you use for your Hoyas
🙈 I use liquid gold leaf🌱
Beautiful video :) . I have a question, what fertilizer do you use for your plants ?
Thank you Stefan! I use Liquid Gold Leaf 😊

@@Stefan-sp7wt they have a foliage spray and fertiliser option. I use the fertiliser and only use it for watering, not spraying😊

Great question! I’ve noted Hoya Hasseltii looks very similar to Sigillatis indeed. But Sigillatis itself has lots of varieties🤔 so I wonder…💭
