Pro tip: calatheas ADORE humidity, and also shade. In nature they grow at the base of trees below the canopy where moisture levels are the highest, and I have all 7 of my calatheas within 3 feet of my humidifier. Hope your baby heals ❤
Omg!! Just in time, i wanted to do some journaling but couldn't find the motivation to, but I always use ur videos as a background when im doing something productive, so this is just perfect🥺‼️
Enjoyed your video (as usual Girl 🙌🏾)…love your new Monstera growth, your trailing plants & esp your Silver $ (mine refuses to grow 🥴) but yes, Spring is approaching, so I’m hopeful 🤣🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
I ❤to hear Fern talk about her plant's. Even the ugly, mishaps she still finds the beauty in them 😊 But I always find a new plant I want & money I don't need to spend 😅
Fern, first of all, huge fan here. I watch all your videos and you’ve been a huge influence along my plant journey. Anyways, have you thought about hanging a mother grow light from the ceiling above the plant wall? It can be attached with command strips so it could be rental friendly. I’m contemplating doing it one in my dining room on the one wall. It’s brick so I think it’ll be a vibe. Just gotta pick a paint color for the brick (it’s painted gray now. 🤢)
Your plants are gorg! But i did notice you say you didnt know why your calathea was curling, in my experience they are not the biggest fan of direct light, mine would always curl when the sun was the hottest until i moved it away from the window, i hope that helps i love seeing all your babies growing 💕
Your plants look so healthy Fern! The Tortum, plant goals! I love having a baby and watching it grow, but dang if only it could move along a little faster 😂
I love my Pachyclada (I named him 2Pac!!!!) He has sprouted at least 7 leaves since I brought him home in December, and for a hoya, that's HUGE growth. I guarantee yours will do amazingly!!!
Hey Fern! I noticed that your alocasia black velvet is starting to grow again! I used to struggle with mine as well, but I noticed that they don’t like to dry out too much! And they love to be fertilized pretty frequently! These are just some of the tips that worked for me!
I just started watching your video and your necklace grabbed my attention right away! I love the sweet little heart - is it another heart mirrored above it? I’m a Metalsmith & jewelry designer so I always notice a great jewelry piece! Ok… continuing the vid now! 😊
Thank you Fern for showing us all your plants! I love to see the conditions you have them growing in! I treated myself to a package of the dragonfly plant clips I saw on your channel and am having fun adding them to my plants. ❤😊. They really do add that little bit of sunshine and make me smile when I see one!
take a shot (of water, c'mon, it's noon on Monday) everytime Fern says a plant is one of her favorites lmao (haven't finished the vid yet and we're at at least 5)
Hey fern! I got a thai constellation about a week ago and I put it in leca a few days ago and it already started putting out a new leaf, so maybe that’s something you could try out!
Yes living in the PNW is truly a blessing and a curse😂especially around this time of year! Love to see your philodendron tortum. I got one recently, and I’m still waiting for it to put out a new leaf. I feel like sphagnum moss can be harder to use for people in colder regions. I’ve had struggles with moss before in the past. Most local people on my fb group have moved on to use perlite or pon to root plants. I have had success but most of the time in high humidity. Thank you for the tour!
I have a zz stem propagation from a couple winters ago and it’s just started growing two branches a few months back, and still the branches haven’t made their way to full size yet, but they are definitely going to be branches right off the bat.
Fern!! I love your Ficus Villosa in the coffin. I just got one for my Milsbo terrarium, and I'm really hoping itl climb the driftwood in it eventually. Thanks for always putting out such planty content. :)
You have sooooo many plants I wanna get my hands on loll. Been looking around a bit for a variegated Bear Paw, I have the standard green and its done fantastic for me. I actually got it to flower over the winter, and its still pushing out new buds lol. Started blooming around October and it won't stop lol. They have suchhh pretty flowers.
Maybe try out to put the calathea in a slightly darker spot (they don’t like direct sun at all) and also they can be really hard to grow when they’re still small. You could try to add other calatheas in one pot, different kinds or the same. That works really well for me. And the curling of the leaves can happen due to too much light, but the leaves of calatheas move so much in general, which makes the plant seem even more alive to me! 😍
6:09 there was probably too much sun for the calathea on that day! :) that happened to one of my calatheas a couple weeks ago but I just moved it to a spot with a little bit less sun and she was better by the end of the day! all of you plants are BEAUTIFUL btw!! do you have any philodendron recommendations? I have a brazil and a lemon lime but I really want one that can grow up a moss pole well and give me some really pretty mature leaves soon 💞
They're from here: www.etsy.com/shop/ietsmetplantjesnl/?etsrc=sdt&fbclid=PAAaZjFDj8LwFmyICRVT-aO294Kdikviam5-tXpaEJhZjROEuQ6HR9AH_BToc&load_webview=1&bid=M-OXWZTkVVm-8uqyw-ds3Shv0mKI
Caudata sumatra is my all time favorite hoya bloom! The only thing that really sucks is it's SO short lived 🥺 loving this tour so much, Fern! Definitely makes a Monday better 💚💚💚
The light in your south facing window may be too bright for your Calathea Warscewiczii. I have mine a few feet away from my window in indirect line. It never is exposed to direct sunlight. Mine is about the same size as yours. Also, thank you so much for sharing this houseplant tour! Loved it!
Your Begonia Amphioxus is a real stunner!!! Does it have a stake to support itself? is it in soil or pon? :O i'd love to convert mine to pon but mine is still very small Also i was thinking a few days ago that i'd love to see your updated houseplants and boom, a new houseplant tour!
How fast is your Hoya li saris cuttings growing? The ones you are propagating in water. Mine is so long that I need to hold it overhead to take to the sink to water. It’s got lots of new growth.
I always see your crystals sitting on or around your plants and I’d love to do the same with mine but I don’t know which types could handle so much sunlight or contact with wet soil. How do you decide on which crystals to display like that? Have you ever had any issues with the sun bleaching them etc?
I recently read that the ponytail palm would do well NEXT to a north facing window. I have a spot to fill and wanted one for that. Would it thrive in a spot like that?
Wow. Im obsessed! ✨I just have a question. Do you keep your grow lights on when you’re next to them? I’m not sure how safe are they for our eyes and skin :/ I try to leave them on when I’m not in the room, but sometimes I’m not consistent with the hrs. Any advice? Thankssss
Hi! Do you mix your own substrate? I’d love to know your ingredients in those transparent plastic cups! It looks like it has coconut barks and pearlites. ❤
🚨Updated plant tour 2024 here: th-cam.com/video/fosG745d1Wc/w-d-xo.html
I don’t know what’s more impressive….. your awesome plant collection or that you know each plants name. 😅 💞
Yay nothing better than starting off a holiday Monday with a coffee and a Fern plant tour. 🌿☀
Yayyyy enjoy! I keep forgetting it's a holiday today haha
Me with my cookie and lemonade 😂❤️
@@AnjiiTheAmazinOMG Yumm! Definitely polished off a box of cookies as well today. 😅
@@victoriabrii definitely felt like a treat yourself day today 😂❤️
Fabulous just about to sit down and enjoy this with a cuppa 💖
Ahhh divine ✨ enjoy!
I miss my El Choco Red. I need to get another.
I didn’t realize just how many begonias. They are all so different. How pretty. All of them.
Thank you :) I love begonias so much!

Yay good morning! Perfect timing. Enjoy your coffee & enjoy the video 💖
Same here! Perfect timing ❤
Omg!! Just in time, i wanted to do some journaling but couldn't find the motivation to, but I always use ur videos as a background when im doing something productive, so this is just perfect🥺‼️
Aww perfect indeed! Journalling sounds so cozy 🥰
Yay get to watch this with my morning coffee!💛 love your content!
Awe thank you so much for watching! Enjoy your morning 💚💚
Oh, I was waiting the whole day for your video 😊 And spring is arriving here too finally.
Aww thank you for watching!! 🌞
The fuzzy petiole on your Philodendron Serpens is drool worthy 🥰
I'm so glad that the spring growth is finally here!!
I remember you having a cutting of micans a couple years ago.. It is so amazing to see how it grew!!
Always so happy when you post! Thank you Fern 🌿🧡
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching :)
You have a beautiful collection! 😍 I love what you've done in your apartment!
Thankful that youtube brought me to your channel! You are so gorgeous and your plants are gorgeous. Hope to have a collection like you one day🥰
Awe thank you so much! Really glad you're here :)
Enjoyed your video (as usual Girl 🙌🏾)…love your new Monstera growth, your trailing plants & esp your Silver $ (mine refuses to grow 🥴) but yes, Spring is approaching, so I’m hopeful 🤣🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Every time I watch one of your videos it makes me want to also start a planty channel. You make it looks so cozy and fun!
Love seeing your plants grow!!!! I have been chopping and propagating most of my plants to make them all fuller!!!!
I ❤to hear Fern talk about her plant's. Even the ugly, mishaps she still finds the beauty in them 😊 But I always find a new plant I want & money I don't need to spend 😅
I live in the Redwoods in Northern California! The PNW is the best and most magical place!
Okay your bedroom is absolutely gorgeous! Love the bed and plants hanging above 😌
Thank you so much!! 😊 I’ve had to get creative since I’m renting and don’t want to put holes in the ceiling to hang them
Use weather strip on your cabinet and add humidifier, it will help with humidity

Im from Portland OR in the states, been to Vancouver Island a few times, such a cute place...when it's not gloomy and cold:(
Lovely plants 🪴
Like it ❤️

Me just over here with my plant journal and wishlist. 👀 Do you have videos on sizing up different seedling- immature plants?
I've been waiting this, time to add even more plants to my wishlist
This epipremnum No ID at 17:00 - I think it's cebu blue :)
This is exactly what I needed today!! 🎉❤
Hi Fern everyone is doing fine and looking so beautiful 😍 💖
you should glue some magnet dots to the bottom of the pots of the black stand so you don’t have to worry about the smaller pots don’t fall off! 😊
Your anthurium pallidiflorum is sooo good. There’s not a whole lot on YT about its care so I’d love to hear your tips.
All are such happy plants!

You can switch those lights in your Wally wall to a mother 32” hung from ceiling.

Great video Fern! You did such a great job!
Love a collection tour video 💖 does anyone know what metal racks are used on the sides of her Milsbo??
They're from here: www.etsy.com/shop/ietsmetplantjesnl/?etsrc=sdt&fbclid=PAAaZjFDj8LwFmyICRVT-aO294Kdikviam5-tXpaEJhZjROEuQ6HR9AH_BToc&load_webview=1&bid=M-OXWZTkVVm-8uqyw-ds3Shv0mKI
@@wildfern I'm sorry, I should have been more specific 🙈 I meant the metal clip racks with shelves you have in the milsbo wide!
Caudata sumatra is my all time favorite hoya bloom! The only thing that really sucks is it's SO short lived 🥺 loving this tour so much, Fern! Definitely makes a Monday better 💚💚💚

Lovely plant tour.

I leave them on all day, yes. I just don't look at the light itself.
Hi fern what is the plant stand with the lights called I’d love to order one thanks
Hi! Do you mix your own substrate? I’d love to know your ingredients in those transparent plastic cups! It looks like it has coconut barks and pearlites. ❤
❤Where did you get the pole plant stand?
❤️❤️🙏 enjoy the balance of your week.
Where did you get all the cute clear trellises and clips???
Did I miss your Brazil on a moss ploe? I watched twice. Can you give me a time stamp?
Fern, can you please tell me where you got your Mother plant tree light? A google is showing me nothing and I need one in my life. I am in Canada too.
Your monkey tail cactus would benefit from having an overhead grow light. It seem to be growing toward the window giving it a weird shape.
