Horizontal slat fence to hide AC units

My patio had an unpleasant view of air conditioner units and my lawnmower, so I built a horizontal picket privacy / screen fence with a modern look and colors (gray/black). One 4x4 pressure treated wood post is set in concrete. The other is bolted to the brick wall.

Great idea! I was also planning to use the back to hang things like my electric weed wacker. And if I can find a suitable waterproof enclosure, I'd like to put the battery charger back there, too.

I would leave the gaps, Gives some air flow to the Unit.

Hi thanks for the video i like the design, i was wondering if this help with reducing the noise of the ac unit, i would like to make a fence like yours but mostly to reduce the sound.
