  • Hello and welcome all to those who subscribed and who has visted my channel to view my latest video.
On Thursday June 13th, I headed out to Hersham which located on South Western Mainline and it's fast line between Woking & Waterloo.
To be honest I wasn't orginally planning to come here, until someone recommend me to go there, and I seen some other train videos at this station and I was interested, so I then decided to come here, and I'm glad I did.
Very impressive little station. It,s very scenic with all the woodlands surrounding the station. the views from Platform 2 are cracking of stretch line that look towards Woking, where you see Trains approaching long way distance, and you just can see Walton On Thames Station, the line towards Line that looks towards Waterloo is pretty good which has a sharp curve.
The views of Platform 1 is not bad but you don't really get a great deal of view, plus you get some tree branches in the way little bit that looks towards London line.
Mostly I just love the fast through trains which is most exciting thing.
Station itself is tidy, as you guess there is no facility but there is small cafe where you can get a coffee or tea to take out, which you walk down the stairwell and it's right in front of you. And walk to other side of Platform, again just walk down the stairs go under the bridge and then up the other stairs.
    Trains you will see are Desiros 450, 444, DMU 158s / 159s, 701 on testings and 458.
Overall brilliant station, and certainly is up there with West Byfleet, Byfleet & New Haw.
If you like what you then please give my video a like, and subscribe to my channel if you so wish, and please feel free to comment in section below.
Until my next video I'll see you all next time.
    Bye for now.

Well I aim to please. 🙂 Yes so far SWML stations between Woking - Waterloo are very good. So far the bestest I’ve been to are West Byfleet, Byfleet & New Haw and Hersham, because of long stretch track. Weybridge is good, but can be busy at times with College students hanging around on Platforms. Skipped Walton On Thames just didn’t think it was worth it, not great view and not been able to see trains opposite with overgrown Platform in the centre. I’m definitely going to do Clapham Junction & Waterloo later on in the year!

@@joes-trainproductions5987 Your videos are awesome! Cant wait for Clapham and Waterloo, you'll hopefully see 458/4s and 701s fully in service by then

@@purplesTrainsUK Hence why I’m going to SWML Stations for, to make the most of 455s before they get withdrawn as they are sticking for another year, so I’m been told. Won’t be coming to Waterloo or Clapham until October time ish, as I still got few places I haven’t been yet. Not going to Wimbledon, as I’m thrown by that fence. If it not been there I would definitely would have gone there.

@@joes-trainproductions5987 Yep, /4s are initially doing services between Waterloo, Hounslow, Twickenham and Weybridge, and my friend said he has confidential 701 news he cannot tell me (he has friends who works for Wimbledon TRSMD so I dont know whats happening)
