Hi, Great video, really helpful for learning how to use the suiteanalytics feature. I was trying to follow you in a demo account, but the csv export seems to be disabled (greyed out). Is there something that needs to be turned on for this to work?
The only time I've ever seen that is when you have limited permission. For example, a Sales Rep might be able to open the workbook but can't export it. If you're in the Administrator role, then something else is preventing you.
Is there a way to have filters apply to the entire table, like pivots in Excel, where the filter is above the table? In your example, could you filter the table to just 2 "types" of transactions? Or just a particular status?
Hi Mark, yes there is a way. If you wanted a "global" filter let's say for Status. You need to add Status to your Dataset (but not to you your Rows, Columns and Measures). Then click on the three dots for Status (which will be sitting in your Dataset at the far left) and click "Filter Status". This will apply the filter to the entire pivot table.
@@SuiteCris Thanks for the quick response. Sounds like it's a bit more cumbersome and time consuming than what i'm used to in a regular pivot table. Is there a product you'd recommend which sits on top of Netsuite and provides pivot tables in Excel?
I’m so happy I found your channel!
I'm glad I could be of help!
You mention you’ll go more in depth on dates in pivots tables in your next video. What is your next video?
The full module on SuiteAnalytics is in my Administrator's Course, link below:

No I'm not aware of any product like that. A lot of people use Power BI for more intuitive reporting functionality in NetSuite, I'd check that out.
