A couple ways. You can global search "cash: (the number you want)" or go to Transactions>Sales>Enter Cash Sales>List and locate the one you want.

I assume you're talking about in the 19-20 min mark? A little earlier, I set a Condition that was tied specifically to the Preferred Payment Method field so when I set the actual parameter below it only had that one option.

That's a very broad question, totally depends what you're trying to get a job for. Certs can be helpful but any smart employer should be looking for more than just a piece of paper.

Well first off, don't aspire to be a mangery, pretty sure that's not a good thing. Secondly, go with business/industry knowledge for sure.

Can you clarify what you mean by the "designer"? Are you talking about an average user in the system or are you trying to say the person who configures the system? If we're talking about the average end user (like an accountant, a sales rep, a purchaser, etc), then they will be seeing the same basic dashboard I show in this video. If you want to go more specific, like "how does someone on a project handle communication" etc, then you just need to look at my more targeted videos like Project Mgmt 101, Emails, CRM, etc.

We talk and send files back and forth constantly on our projects and all of the sessions I have attended with NetSuite directly this piece is still not entirely clear. Not per Netsuite, they won't let you sign up until you've passed SuiteFdn. If there's a hack to get around this, I'm not aware of it.

It's all relative, so I won't comment on it being a "good career path". Admins usually average about 80-100K a year. A decent consultant can easily make 6 figures.

@SuiteCris that's what I figured, haha. So you recommend that 12 *week* course? Or just getting certifications if you plan to make NetSuite a career?

Just to be clear, when you say "12 hour course", do you mean the 12 week training program that I refer to in the video? I mean, if you can get hired by Bryant Park then I definitely recommend you go that route, but they turn down a lot of applicants. Getting hired by Oracle Netsuite is generally easier to pull off, especially if you're a recent college graduate. Barring both of those options, yes I'd recommend trying to get certificates and trying to move up the ladder. A number of consulting agencies like to hire seasoned Netsuite Admins who have industry experience and are ready to move up to being an implementation consultant.

After returning from SuiteWorld, I did push for LCS. I wasn't aware you had anything that could compete with them. I did argue to PLEASE not use ACS. Good video overall =)

I'm honestly not sure what you're asking. Please clarify what you mean by unassigned items, no entity, and associated values.

@@SuiteCris The deferred revenue rollforward summary has rows marked 'unassigned' or 'no entity' and I cannot download the transaction detail for these reports as the report is too large and as this report is run by period I cannot change 'preferences' to 'never' to run it by week or day etc.

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, it's not an app per se, but a software product (Power BI) that you can pay consultants to configure into a reporting dashboard. If you don't want to use Power BI itself, you can also go with it's competitors like Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.

You're welcome! No you don't need to use Requisitions to create POs, they are entirely optional.

Native netsuite doesn't allow cost accounting for multiple assembly items. One workaround is to make a saved search that can pull cost accounting for single layer BOM assembly items, but that may not be enough for what you need.

Interesting question, I don't believe there is a native solution to this. You just need to look up the currency exchange rate for that day and manually input the converted number.

It's hard to say, sometimes the actual field name is different than what you input or the records you're looking for are under a different join. Sometimes you have to play around with it and test things out to get what you want.
