Filmed on the 19th and 20th of May 2014 which happened to be the hottest days of the year so far, we experience Bath in all its splendor and colour. Bath is magnificently kept and should be the benchmark in which other cities/towns are judged. I hope you enjoy the ride.

Its a lovely place for sure, especially well kept and clean. There were some homeless types loitering around near the train station streets though and some of the streets are steep for walking. Thanks for viewing.

Ri live in bath it's a lovely city to visit. But as a locale we are over run by tourist and student's and the council just take our council tax and spend it on the city canter to look good we don't even have a police station how bad is that it's not that we don't need one as we certainly do we are over run with crime but as long as the tourist are happy sod the locals
Bath spends far too much time worrying what outsiders think than what residents feel. Why the city is so preoccupied with nothing but tourism doesnt reflect well on it.

Just to clarify - Bath Spa is the name of the railway station ( the 'Spa' was added to not confuse it with Bath Green Park, a disused station that closed in 1966). You were very lucky with the weather!
Lovely place is bath. Much of the original wrought iron on the buildings was removed for the 2nd world war effort. Was that luck with the steamer or did you know it was coming. Very nice video ...Quak Quak .
The steamer was a surprise. I looked at RTT in the hotel and saw a West Coast listing. The problem was that 20 minutes after its scheduled departure from Bristol (15 mins away) there was no movement, according to RTT it had not left. Then suddenly a whole bunch of "no reports" showed up and it was just around the corner. I ran from the hotel which was on top of a hill all the way down to that vantage point only to see the locos go off in the distance. The shot was unedited. I thought it was going to be a 47, but the steamer was a nice bonus. Its a shame I didn't arrive 10 seconds earlier for a better shot. I felt leaving it out would have been harsh. Did you notice the new wooden fence at Sydney gardens? Never seen that before.

One of my favourite places to go out for the day the bus tour is great great scenery good shops nice pubs bit exspencive.
If you would like to get something a bit cheaper, ask the locals , as long as you are polite and not stuck up, we are happy to help 😄

Is the roman bath used or not? Can people take a bath there? I thought that they were still in use but in your video I see people walking around and just taking photos.
The King's Bath was used for curative bathing until the middle of the 20th century. For those wishing to take the waters today there is the New Royal Bath at Thermae Bath Spa.
