I cannot thankyou enough. This is how I have always wished to expertience Bath. Being able to just observe and take in everything at a leisurely pace. Looking at the original laid pavements and your walking down interesting steps to lead you onto Pultney Bridge. You have done and shown me what i wanted to do. Its real and so authentic. Thankyou again. Regards John (Australia)
Thank you for taking the time to watch and reply, it means a lot - being able to open up small pockets of the world to make them easily accessible to people is something I am really appreciating.
These kinds of videos has helped me sleep, I’m glad I found this channel ♥️ My biggest dream is to travel to Europe someday , but for now , videos like these are good enough lol
This is both sad and beautiful. Depressing to see only a few people walking on the streets, but it still helps us to appreciate the beauty of this place. I felt like I was there again, excellent video. Greetings from Brazil.
Tears as I remembered my daughter (now in New Zealand) and I having tea together by the weir after a shopping trip - fond memories of the theatre and supper after wards. I am now in lincolnshire and miss Bath so much - it was a soul feed to travel the streets again - thank you.
Thank you Beth, so nice to know the video evoked such happy memories. Hopefully I'll do another Bath video soon and catch some of the autumn leaves in the park.
Amazing video! Thanks. I lived in England for five years, been to Bath twice, all in summer. So my memory about Bath is people everywhere. I have never seen the streets so empty. The pandemic does change things. Hope we can return to normality soon.
@@everywhereisimagined Good to know! Hope to see more of your videos soon. I was wondering if you have the chance to go to Lake District, it will be great to film that. Beautiful place.

Its so beautiful I love the feeling like Im walking along and Experience the place even though I am here in the philippines I hope someday I can really come
spent 1 day there.... couple years back. Not nearly enough time to take the area in. Highly recommend a few days to enjoy it. Not sure if Lady Lena canal cruise still functions but that was a lovely afternoon hosted by a really nice couple. Cheers from Canada
Thanks for watching. I think there are a few boat trip you can do, hopefully they'll all be returning now COVID restrictions have eased. Cheers from England
Great walk my friend! @41:00 this place looks very similar to a scene in Oliver Twist movie from 1968, after he gets "adopted" into a upper class family.
I enjoyed that sooooooooooooooooo much. I was there in 2014 for 2 days and it rained so hard that the only way that I could see the city was on the Hop On Hop Off bus. I wan to come back and do this kind of walk. Had no idea that things were that close together. Would love to hook up with you, you seem to know where everything is. Awesome Awesome Awesome and I thank you for the video. Don in the USA.
I dont think that at all. It gave a beautiful perspective of suich beautifil archeticture. You can see shabbily dressed people all over the World, anywhere. They blot the elegance and charm here and everywhere else. a chance here to see some beauty and to make the most of a 'Disaster' affecting the World.
Thanks for the video. It’s very nice! Are you still in bath? Would you possibly do us a favour by taking a video from the Riverview Court, which is by the Avon River at Victoria Bridge Road, along the river towards the city centre? We would appreciate it. Thanks!
Hi Fiona, it was a lovely morning yesterday that walking down the River Avon felt like the perfect thing to do. I hope you enjoy the video. With kindness, Adam th-cam.com/video/mM6g9Jr1QWs/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! I recall maybe a record shop on Northgate Street but can’t recall a music shop on George Street but my memory isn’t that great and I quite often turn left at the top of Milsom Street
Duck Son and Pinker on Northgate Street but long gone. There used to be Replay and 10-15 on Broad Street but no record shop on George Street, at least not after 1998ish
Vi un edficio gris a del rio..uno blanco cercaa del rio y otros dos pasando el rio. Evidentemente, debe ser una ley o si pintan con ese color les regalan la pintura!
Was that at the bottom of the spiral stairs? There are cafes on the bridge. I just had a Google and it says there was one on Argyle Street that is now permanently closed

Yes a little sad, restrictions are eased now and it is busier. Thank you for watching. 👋🇬🇧

Я тоже это заметил, красивые и чистые улицы. Очень приятно.

The streets are very busy again now. I was there yesterday and all the shops and restaurants are open now.

Never stop dreaming. 🇬🇧👋
I’ve photographed many weddings in and around Bath. I live about 25 minutes from the city.
It is so nice living in the South-West with such lovely places to visit. I'm hoping to do a new Bath video soon. Hop the photography is going well.

Great videos and a nice idea to share and appreciate our West Country.

That scene was built on a soundstage at Shepperton Studios, Shepperton in southwest London 🤓

Hope you enjoyed it! I'm going to do a new one soon in Bath with a better camera 😊
@@everywhereisimagined Oh cool. You probably won't find it as deserted again unfortunately. Maybe early in the morning.
my dream to know this place...sometimes i think i lived there in past lives🥰💐
Eerie to see normally very busy streets deserted.
Unusual times in between lockdowns

Thanks for this wonderful film. I expected you'd turn to George st, just wanted to see, if a music shop still exists there.

Always wanted to go to BATH but I think I'll get a SHOWER instead 🤐
Its so strange looking back at these videos, i completely forgot how empty bath was last year its vastly different than pre-covid and now in 2021
Yes, things have almost returned to “normal” still a few less visitors from more distant places I imagine.

There's no Riverside cafe near the Pulteney Bridge...

I love this City, It is a lovely City.
I've been to Bath twice. It was not that noisy!!!!!
and in my experience, not as dirty! I remember a cleaner, lovelier place.

Except new developments around Southgate the rest has the same pristine purity while I was there in 1996-97

Try living here it's a completely different city for locals than the pain in the ass tourist and students,
No remarks, nothing but street names. Boring. In such a beautiful city with a staggering heritage to Roman times. I loved my visit...
Why don't you do it then..
