And now imagine Valmonica suddenly becoming Tier 1 out of nowhere because they release Valmonica Double Helix in Legacy of Destruction or the set after!
@@Jrpg_guy I am aware of the issues with the deck and that you can't fix them easily. You have to either give them a bunch of broken cards or have to change how the deck works entirely like giving them cards that just place the counters immediately without you having to activate all these life point effects. You could at least give them more Spells that get you access to the other Spells/Traps and a Link that searches one so you could just summon the Link to add a Spell and then just chain the searches together. That way you would at least immediately get all the counters without effort. The deck has to get 1 card combos that play through more interruptions and that end on more interruptions to have a chance.
All what Valmonica Double Helix needs to do is be a Link-2 card with a Twice Per Turn Quick Effect that draws or negates a face-up card, and you gain LP or take damage. Make it so it can only be Link Summoned if you have two different Valmonica Cards in the Pendulum Scales. By having a consistent, repeatable way to trigger the scales while also being a Heatsoul or Abyss, Valmonica basically solves its issues with deckbuilding, being able to trigger effects as needed and still stays with the unique theme of being control while not letting it be usable with other Decks

If you want to actually do Valmonic things you basically need a hand of one scale and three spells alongside somethinf to pitch
Probably not, but I wonder if discard cards like the fabled or dark worlds stuff have any synergy
Velma harmonica? who? The scooby doo chick? Jinkies? Zoinks? 0 people would have remembered if you skipped over this one, but I still appreciate you and the effort so ty 😌. This is the true 2023 pendulum experience.
Yes we did not miss or forget about that , kudos to you for making a pointless comment all for attention 🤣
@@isaiahjack3140 wait this is the second comment I've seen from you repeating the same sentiment. Are you a bot?
Hmmmm... What if, what if we mix Lightsworn with this Valmonica deck? Maybe it works...?
only a few of them i think, and not too many because otherwise you would loose the many gain/loose effect that make the deck what it is
I'm so proud of you Joseph for making my ears bleed with every name pronunciation
what would happen if Duralume enters the backrooms?
OH NO....!
Fire Kings looks more broken by the day, how are they not a top tier meta archetype?
What are they missing to make them tier 1 or 2?
Where the hell is Da Bears
Ok, first off, why play Scheiren and Ishizu millers? You only have a few cards you actually want in the GY and you have no fusions to make use of. 2nd, why even play around with Ishizu millers if they are banned in a little more than a week? 3rd, The shufflers don't do that much for the deck either.
Valmonica is actualy cool, it is kind a sad thad a cool pend aractype is not meta.
I’m sorry Joseph but I swear you said “Fire King Pomni” when reading Ponix
There is literally nothing that could possibly fix Vaalmonica's issues. There's way way way too many, and 2 waves of support will not fix that.
Same will apply to Mementos as well.
Centur-ions, a.k.a. Calamity lock turbo, will really just be the only archetype that will have any chance of being T1 (which it probably will be after their support).
actually memento is in a good spot,it can get way better too, valmonica really needs a lot of powrful cards to get better, but hope never fades off
Good video
PEND BEST DECK LET'S GO. On a more serious note love the schizo skit at the start of this videos. btw the names are italian or come from a similar root linguistically speaking, so cards like velmonica scelta are pronounced shelta (with an hard e and a). i may be wrong tho
no you're rightm italian) also there's : versare with hard e and a(always in italian), dimonno, who uses o like the o in rock, and i like the i in italy, and angello(same rules as before),i leave to you intonare then ;)
Listening to MBT pronouncing italian names is true suffering.
They got agido
"versèr" lmaooooo
