  • Honeybees are super organisms consisting of 3 different parts. Female workers that do all the work, male drones who's job is to mate, and lastly each colony needs a queen bee to lay all the eggs. A queen been can lay over 2000 eggs a day!

The presence of queen cells does not mean the colony is going to swarm. It means they are replacing the old queen. In some cases, the old queen is just killed and no swarming takes place.

This is really interesting. My old primary school had a bee hive and I was always stung when I was near the hive

Bees are so friendly they never stung me before and I get really close to them with my face just to admire how cute they are. Wasps on the other hand I will swat and attack them if they come at me. I feel like they’re like dogs who can sense your fear

@@Bunny11344don’t swat at them it’s just going to get them more agitated when wasps follow you they are usually curious of what you are I often let them crawl on my hands and they fly away however if you disturb a nest they will swarm and chase you

I'm not afraid of bees. My sister's husband had many bee hives always near vegetable gardens. He owned many properties with honey bees on all his land.
