Eddie here vs when he was in ASP is a HUGE transformation...I mean you can still hear the ASP on their new album but, its so different at the same time. Major props to Eddie bringing them back.

Angel Spasov Don't worry, bro. I agree with you. If I'm 100% brutally honest, Eddie's vocals run circles around Mitch's vocals, especially in the high screams department. But that's just my opinion. However, Mitch was much more energetic, but I think I rather have a vocalist that sounds good than one who's jumping around a shit-ton.
Best thing for them was mitches death, he was lazy and talked half his songs, Eddie is a beast.

Holy shit, he nailed it. Those highs are pretty close to Mitch's and also listenable. Eddie is really really good. Quite a few screamers using this vocal range are good live. But Eddie certainly proves to be one of those few.

ive always noticed mitch was not the best live performer, atleast at a technical screaming stand point, eddie blows him out of the water. People really need to let the whole mitch bullshit go, mitch has done more than excellent job which is a very hard thing to do if the last singer was well beloved such as mitch. Eddie brought the band back from hell, so apricate

Such a killer performance! Anyone else baffled as to why fans are making it a competition, saying shit like "Eddie > Mitch" or vice versa? Why can't we just accept that Mitch was great, and so is Eddie. They're two different vocalists from two different eras of Suicide Silence, I don't see why we can't just enjoy them both without fans bitching about one or the other online. I highly doubt Eddie would want to see himself compared to his late friend every single day, and it's incredibly unfair to judge a man who passed away to his replacement.
I think everyone agrees Eddie has good lows. Everyone says his highs suck. No, his overused mids suck. His highs are insane. He just uses the mids too much and those do suck. But in his defense, mids tend to suck.

I saw them live 3 weeks ago (for the 4th time!) and I have to say:
It was strange seeing someone different as Mitch on stage but he's the much better vocalist. I'll miss him at All Shall Perish and I miss Mitch as well. But from the musical standpoint Eddie is just better.
Eddie is easily the best thing that's happened to this band.
I'm so glad SS is still alive, nothing can be compared to Mitch but heck, Eddie is good in his own way,. I'm sure Mitch is happy to see his buddy's keeping it up for him.

A lot of people are saying that Eddie is better than Mitch. From a technical standpoint, yes, but Mitch's voice was much more unique. He had his own sound when it came to his voice. He didn't sound like anybody else and nobody sounded like him.

Actually he's better. Notice how he uses proper technique. Mitch ruined his vocal chords by using improper technique which led to his voice sounding like shit live for the last year or so of his career. Now; I'm not saying Mitch sucks. I loved Mitch, I loved his screams and still do. But Eddie is just better.

I'm not that kind of a guy who just says Mitch is better because he's dead now and I was a fan since the first album released.
But in my opinion Mitch was way crazier, had a better stage presence and does sound way more aggresive than Eddie.
Eddie does a really solid job in his way. But it doesn't blow my mind away like it was with Mitch when I've seen them live. Oh well.. Let's see.
Mitch was fun live. Had his growls great but his highs weren't anything compared to the records. Eddie, on the other hand, hits every scream perfect. It's great. They are/were both good vocalists live.
Going to see them with Alterbeast Chelsea Grin & Black Dahlia Murder this saturday at The House of Blues in Dallas and i'm so fucking hyped up after seeing this.
r.i.p mitch to respect an fallen amazing vocalist that being said the new lead singer is his own voice people an hes doing an amazing job taking suicide silence into the future; hes done an amazing job jumping into a spot with such high expectations an people needa get over it like ima hudge fan of mitch always will be but suicide silence lives on and strong as ever Amen for that!
