I did 3 hours non stop watching here in youtube slaughterhouse vids. All in one session. I did not avert my eyes. And learned where the protein comes from, B12 etc. What to eat instead. And all the beauty and anti aging tips as well. Like eating animal proteins is very aging and energy zapping. Now as a plant vegan i feel the energy i never knew i didn't have. Now one can not pay me a million to eat meat. I do not miss it or crave fake meat either. Plant cheeses and plant dairy i like. But eating animals is not a option ever again. I am proud about it, I'm saving animal lives and the planet.
have you guys ever tried some of the raw vegan ice cream recipes where it's just a frozen banana base and then you add stuff to it? I like to add carob and bits of peanut butter and dates but you could totally add cocoa powder and actual sugars and all kinds of flavors. It's really good and the frozen banana base makes it so creamy. No coconut or nut after taste (well unless you add that lol)
I figured I give feedback on the latest video: I really loved the cheese taste test video, because not only did it have the taste test (which is the best) but then you did a recipe afterwards too! Best of both worlds.

I'm always so confused when people say that vegan milks taste different than cow milk and vegan ice cream (exuding coconut based) tastes different than the non vegan version. I can never even tell the difference! Like even right after I went vegan I could never tell.
Coconut Bliss is definitely my favourite brand of ice cream. Try the mocha maca crunch one. Sooo good. Plus that brand is probably the healthiest out of the bunch, way better ingredients.

You could do a taste test of all vegan ice creams. VEGAN POWER. I'm very string with muscles because i can easily work out for hours. However I'm also full of compassion for animals. .
The winner ice cream and runner up are not sold anywhere near me unfortunately. I like to make my own vegan chocolate ice cream because I prefer it to the stuff in the store, sorry Coconut Bliss and So Delicious. I make my ice cream with a food processor, high speed blender will work too. I make mine with the frozen banana technique, then I mix vegan cacao powder and sugar with water until it becomes a chocolate sauce and add it to the bananas. I think it could be made many ways though, like buying your favorite vegan chocolate bars and melting them into the frozen bananas.

Right. Was pescitarian, then veggie over last 8 years or so. I married a plant-based person so now I'm going to start my own 14 day vegan challenge (eggs and milk are tough for me to give up). Going to give it a try firstly because I feel it's time and secondly because you guys are adorable

It's so true though! Once you've been off dairy for a while it tastes funny to you. I've been off dairy for about 6 years now and I tried a bite of regular ice cream once and it tasted so gross to me! Funny how that works.

With the one non-vegan ice cream, she says it tastes very processed lol. There needs to be a rice milk or cashew milk ice cream. It has a very neutral flavor, so the base ingredient of the ice cream isn't overpowering.

Funny thing is it does not taste like banana. I add dark chocolate and its so good. Low calories and creamy. If u buy org its very sweet.

I think no one can make that decision for you.. but if you do eat those kind of things you shouldnt label yourself as a vegan, but as plantbased. A vegan would never knowingly eat an animal product as we believe that any animal product isnt ours to take and that it is also just not healthy. :)
I've been egg free for years and accident had some egg on a sandwich. ( totally did not see or taste it as it was very spicy and in a pocket. Wow, i can tell you how unhealthy eggs are., my body revolted for 5 days straight, had headaches ( never get those) felt flu like, weak, tired, loss of muscles. It was extreme. My body after years of plant vegan said: " never give me animal proteins again" i got so used to feeling always great, i forgot how people feel ( or i used to feel) before becoming vegan! Oh I'm not allergic. Then again i think everyone is allergic to dead animal flesh and animal Products.
