It's a good thing you saved the cashew ones for last. They're totally the best. I LOVE the Salted Caramel Clusters one. But just tried the Snickerdoodle one & it blew me away. Just put up my review of it.
We we also glad we saved the cashew ones for last, they were so rich and decadent, we couldn't believe they were vegan. We haven't seen the snickerdoodle one in a store near us yet but we'll keep looking because everyone is telling us how good it is and we can never deny a good vegan ice cream! 😜
I literally have to keep myself from buying that kind because I WILL eat the entire pint in one sitting. It's my favorite ice cream ever, even compared to everything I tried before going vegan. (:
I'm not even close to being vegan, but I got the salted caramel cashew ice cream because it was way healthier, and oh my gosh. I was shocked that it was dairy free. I texted all the people who I know are trying to eat healthier about the cashew ice cream. I'm watching this video after the fact, and I'm glad my instincts led me to the best one!
What a feel good video! That was an awesome taste test. I almost can taste the ice cream in my mouth, lol. I love all of the cashew based flavor by So Delicious. You should try their cashew/vanilla too, it's so good. But my favorite has to be that Sated Caramel Cluster!
We were so impressed by the texture of the cashew based So Delicious! We will definitely be on the lookout for more flavours at different supermarkets!
Totally agree! I prefer the cashew-based ice cream over the coconut milk. The Salted Caramel is my fave, so far. And...just in case you were wondering, Ben and Jerry's Non-Dairy Chunky Monkey is my favorite. :-)
Lu G you should try the Snickerdoodle cookie which is made with cashew milk, salted caramel was my fav so delicious flavor until I found Snickerdoodle😍
My wife and I recently discovered your channel and have been binging on your videos to catch up. One of our first videos was this one on vegan ice cream. It was so influential in our lives. We had mostly given up ice cream, and now have tried all of the ones you recommended in this video. Your recommendations were spot on, and our freezer is now packed with this stuff (which is pretty expensive where we live in the US mid-south). Thanks again for giving us back ice cream, but dam* you guys for blowing our grocery budget with this expensive treat!
I truly appreciate your descriptive explanations. Most folks say, "It's SO good!" , lol, which doesn't help us the viewers. Thank you! I'll be picking up the salted caramel one now! =)
so delicious has a chocolate and oreo flavored ice cream with a cashew base, and it's the BEST vegan ice cream i've ever had. seriously, it's incredibly good. i've only ever seen it at tom thumb, so it's pretty hard to find, but it's got the perfect texture and flavor. chocolate oreo was always my favorite ice cream flavor, and cashew milk is my favorite plant milk - it's like they made it for me!
Seriously, I've watched the part with Maddox three times already - I'm sitting in my office crying I'm laughing so hard. Who cares about the ice cream!! That totally made my day. I love your dogs. ❤️💕
They're a local, Toronto-based ice cream shop :) They're actually not a vegan place, but because so many people have has for vegan options, they have a whole freezer dedicated for vegan flavours at the Queen West location! They always have at least 2 at the Etobicoke and Kensington location. Coconut based and all small batch :)
So we went to the store and we saw the Salted Caramel and decided to try it based on your review and we freakin loved it! Reminds me of Butter Pecan which use to be one of my favorite flavors back when I wasn't vegan. My boyfriend said to tell you guys he loved it and he wondered if you guys had done a review on Almond Dream ice cream which is his favorite. Thanks again for the review and the recommendations. ;)
Mmmmm, that sounds so good! We don't have a Trader Joe's in Canada :( Hopefully one will open here in the future, we've been hearing lots of great things about their products.
That was so fun ! It cost almost $9.00 here in Hawaii, have never seen it on sale more than like 1$ off.I knew right away that would be my favorite flavor heard the cashew ones were the best.
I've had several vegan ice creams and I totally agree the the cashew milk salted caramel is the best and the plain vanilla is great also. I can taste the cashew also but that's ok.
lol you guys are so hilarious with your reactions to them all.... I haven't tried the cashew based ice 'creams' but obviously the cashew base is thicker than coconut =) my favourite is the mint chocolate chip coconut ice cream.... but I definitely need to try the cashew based ones =) thanks guys for your opinions!!!!
Yummy! I love the Carmel one and the Chocolate Cookies n Cream ones that are made from cashew milk 😍. You guys gotta try the chocolate cookies n cream one ✌🏼️
No, we haven't tried that one. Coconut Bliss is like $10 a pint, so we've only had it once when it was on sale. But we have to admit it's very good, that's why it's pricey!
ok I never knew these even excited lol. I'm heading to Walmart hopefully they have some vegan ice cream. Since I live in a small town the closest place is Walmart😞. Not much of a selection to start with and great video! 👍
Do you guys have the brand Coconut Bliss in Canada? It's a vegan ice cream brand made with coconut milk but the texture is on point! It never has that icy texture and is super rich and creamy... it's my favorite ice cream next to the new vegan Ben & Jerry's flavors! I can't wait till you guys get a hold of the B&J flavors -- I think you'll enjoy them! I used to be a huge fan of their ice cream before going vegan so I'm so happy they made non-dairy flavors
Yes, we have Coconut Bliss here. It's very expensive though at about $10 a pint. Hopefully B&J will be released here soon... we thought it would have been available in Canada by now. Summer's almost over but it doesn't matter because we'd still eat it in -40 degree weather! 😅
I know most vegans hold Cashew So Delicious as the pinnacle of vegan ice cream. But Coconut Bliss though...Even my mom who was not vegan most of her life says the chocolate one is on point. Also, the Salted Caramel Coconut Bliss has a different taste to it, but it's literally to die for.
The Kale Sandwich Show It's too bad Coconut Bliss is so expensive there! It's about $6.99 a pint here in California... still wouldn't buy it unless it's on sale lol worth it though!
I almost bought the cashew one you both loved but decided on the chocolate coconut milk. I did enjoy the chocolate because you could hardly taste the coconut and almost feel like you’re eating dairy. The texture isn’t as creamy as ice cream. And they’re very expensive.
I bought the sugar free, gluten free, coconut milk, chocolate and vanilla for my Uncle Bob. He's a diabetic and I wanted to get him a healthier yummier sweet treat! He loved it!! It retails for 4.50 at the local Kroger's, and that's the sale price.
Hi im new to your channel...you guys are so cool✌🍩🍫🍦...Today was my first time buying the So delicious ice cream and i just Love the salted caramel one😳😏... Yum.
I tried the Salted Caramel Cluster one for the first time last week and I've already gone through two of them lol! I was wondering about the coconut ones. I don't like the taste of coconut so I didn't try it. Looks like the texture is way better on the cashew ones anyway. The So Delicious Mocha Almond Fudge Bars are also realllly good!
I have never had their pints, but I really like their ice cream bars. Like the ones with vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate ganache and covered in chopped nuts!
We're waiting for vegan B&J to come to Canada!!! We've heard it's really good. I guess another taste test is in store when we get it... not that we're complaining! :P
Have you ever tried frozen banana based vegan ice cream? I found out about it via a raw vegan food video but make mine with frozen bananas, a larabar (dates & peanut butter) and then carob with some coconut milk, all in a blender and it's soooooooooo good. (though I think ppl who are used to sugar in their diet, would want chocolate with some other sugar to make it sweeter) and it's SO delicious. Sometimes I add some buckwheat groats to it for added texture and crunch and flavor.
i have yet to try their ice cream but was sooo stoked there was a vegan cookie dough flavor! I really hope ben & jerry's makes a vegan cookie dough :3 almond dream / coconut dream makes good versions of vegan ice cream sandwiches and "bon bons" if you ever see it. I also really enjoy the coconut bliss brand. Not sure how their salted caramel compares to so delicious but it is really good! They make yummy ice cream bars as well (=
I've seen these here but not the cashew milk ones! I must find it asap it looks sooooo creamy compared to coconut.... fingers crossed I can find it on sale too haha I definitely don't appreciate or understand the price of some vegan icecreams.
I found the dark chocolate truffle to be too bitter and too rich. I don't like dark chocolate that much to begin with so I think I'd prefer just the plain milk chocolate one. But it was pretty cool how there seemed to be pieces of chocolate in it. Not sure if anyone else noticed this also.
You guys should think about experimenting with making some homemade tasty frozen treats to see how well and affordable a vegan ice cream could be done at home...
I think the grittiness is the gluten free dough in the CCCD ice cream. Gluten free doughs are typically really grainy from my experience cooking with them and I would never consider eating them raw. I have tried. They taste awful, doesn't matter the application (pancake batter, cakes or cookies). The grittiness seems to dissipate when cooked.
I hope they fortify with CALCIUM as every regular Ice Cream has 16-20% Calcium....& Cows are also given Limestone derived Calcium Carbonate powders (a mineral from the soil)...That way even the taste is better.
I found this at the 99 cent store I did not like the SO vanilla coconut milk in it but the cashier salt and Carmel cluster is so much better and creams
*I WANT (VEGAN) ICE CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!!!!!!!* Lol, yes I was screaming :D I've had coconut and almond milk ice creams and they were okay. Of coarse, I was expecting to have the experience of the "dairy" kind but still it wasn't bad. From your taste test, I really want to try the salted caramel one :D
Have you guys ever tried Van Leeuwen's vegan ice cream flavors? It's Brooklyn based but I know it's available at Wholefoods. The ice cream is AMAZING! If you haven't tried it and can get it in Canada please try it. You won't regret it....I promise!! An easy addiction so please pace yourselves! Hahahaha
The soy milk version of the cookie dough is so much better. It is very, vety creamy and the vanilla ice cream base has a much more prominent vanilla flavor.
Also, in the dark chocolate truffle all I taste is cashew as well :) There is a soy version called chocolate obsession that is pretty good if you want to get away feom that cashew taste. (The soy versions are from So Delicious as well)
Cool thanks, we will definitely look out for those! We don't have the whole line of So Delicious in Canada yet but hopefully we can find those ones. We're always on the lookout for a good dark chocolate vegan ice-cream! 😊
In your previous vlog; I wanted to steer you away from the coconut milk ones! It's crazy how even though coconut milk is super awesome and onctuous ; it doesn't translate to this brand's line. I know that you can make awesome ones yourself though with just fresh fruit, agave nectar and of course coconut milk. I only buy vegan ice cream if it's on sale. It's truly a luxury item! I wanted to try the cashew milk varieties, but haven't had a chance. The salted caramel one looks great =)✨ Have you seen the vegan Ben and Jerry's yet? I don't think that they ever had the million flavors variety in the U.S. One of my brothers used to work at a Ben and Jerry's parlor; so during my pre-vegan days ( I was vegetarian for many years) I got my fill of their awesome flavors and ice cream cakes on my birthday because my brother was and is still so thoughtful. Your doggies are so cute. I sometimes share nice cream with mine =)✨
Yeah, the cashew based ones definitely imitated ice-cream a lot better. Although we were intrigued by the flavours available in the coconut milk ice-creams. If only they made more flavours with cashew milk. We haven't had the opportunity to try vegan Ben and Jerry's yet because it's not released in Canada but hopefully it will be available in the near future. You're so lucky to have tried so many of their ice creams before you went vegan. They always have the most interesting flavour combinations!
I don't think the Snickerdoodle is in Canada yet. I picked it up in Buffalo.
the cashew based ones are the best my favorite is the snickerdoodle
that sounds so good!
We hope your friends also tried it out and were impressed. It is definitely our go to flavour by So Delicious!
Yay the salted caramel one is my favourite too. :)
Yassss! Hi lovely! 😘
Hey Lovely 👋🏻👋🏻
Yes, definitely our go-to flavour now! But only when it's on sale! Haha
Hi Team Broccoli & LEV 😄👋👋👋💖
The Kale Sandwich Show I wish it was more expensive! So I would buy it less.... haha
What a feel good video! That was an awesome taste test. I almost can taste the ice cream in my mouth, lol. I love all of the cashew based flavor by So Delicious. You should try their cashew/vanilla too, it's so good. But my favorite has to be that Sated Caramel Cluster!

Totally agree! I prefer the cashew-based ice cream over the coconut milk. The Salted Caramel is my fave, so far. And...just in case you were wondering, Ben and Jerry's Non-Dairy Chunky Monkey is my favorite. :-)
The Salted Caramel Clusters one is my life. ☺
Lu G you should try the Snickerdoodle cookie which is made with cashew milk, salted caramel was my fav so delicious flavor until I found Snickerdoodle😍
Love the part you said let's all support vegan ice-cream. May Veganism become the norm n lifestyle of every single human !!!!!
My wife and I recently discovered your channel and have been binging on your videos to catch up. One of our first videos was this one on vegan ice cream. It was so influential in our lives. yep! the cashew salted caramel is amazing
Yes, amazing says it all!
I truly appreciate your descriptive explanations. Most folks say, "It's SO good!" , lol, which doesn't help us the viewers. Thank you! I'll be picking up the salted caramel one now! =)
It's amazing!
I'm actually a huge Mint Chip fan, personally. :) The Salted Caramel is good but sometimes I just don't like things that are real salty.
Awesome video! You guys are such a great couple! I love your glasses!
Salted Caramel FTW!!!! Have you had the Snickerdoodle? It's awesome, too. Cashew milk base is THE BEST! HUGS FROM TEXAS! Love you guys.
Thanks Mrs. Plant! We we're blown away by the Salted Caramel. Now we need to hunt down the Snickerdoodle flavour, we didn't see it that day!
you two are so awesome. I dig your vibe. stay yourselves
so delicious has a chocolate and oreo flavored ice cream with a cashew base, and it's the BEST vegan ice cream i've ever had. seriously, it's incredibly good. i've only ever seen it at tom thumb, so it's pretty hard to find, but it's got the perfect texture and flavor. chocolate oreo was always my favorite ice cream flavor, and cashew milk is my favorite plant milk - it's like they made it for me!
omg that sounds super delicious. We will be on the look out for that flavour, thanks!
Thank you so much for the recommendations! I would definitely check them out.
OMG I knew as soon as you tried the Cashew ice cream you would fall in
It was love at first bite ♥‿♥
I literally just ate an entire tub of the Salted Caramel. AMAZING!
the salted caramel cluster is my favorite! but i havent tried the cherry amaretto one yet.
I love the salted caramel, snickerdoodle and chocolate cookie one!
Seriously, I've watched the part with Maddox three times already - I'm sitting in my office crying I'm laughing so hard. Who cares about the ice cream!! That totally made my day. I love your dogs. ❤️💕
I really like the So Delicious Coconut milk chocolate truffle :) I can't eat the cashew one though. Have you guys tried Sweet Olenkas??
*note: look for Sweet Olenkas* :)
I think the Creamy Cashew and the Cappuccino varieties are my favorite of the cashew milk line!
Yum, we've never seen the cappuccino flavour in Canada before. Maybe it's not available here, sounds really good though!
The Kale Sandwich Show u guys should try non dairy SEVEN LAYER BAR from Ben and Jerry's . Good stuff!!!
That salted caramel cashew based ice cream is THE best! It's awesome!!
I know! I love it SO much!
YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE.
Thanks again for the review and the recommendations. ;)
Soy ice cream is really creamy too. So Delicious has a soy version of the cookie dough one.
Love your show!
Trader Joes has a vegan cherry chocolate chunks ice cream. So good! Please try if there is one in Canada or when visiting the US
Yes! That one is sooo good!
I've heard good things about it, but I always forget to grab it. I'll have to try next time I go!
Mmmmm, that sounds so good! We don't have a Trader Joe's in Canada :( Hopefully one will open here in the future, we've been hearing lots of great things about their products.
I used to eat that - it's been out forever, I think the last time I had it was 6 years ago. It's similar to Ben N Jerry's Cherry Garcia 🍒🍫🍦
I love this couple. They are my couple goals!!
I bought and tried the cashew salted caramel cluster and it's so good.
Omg, I've never seen the cherry amaretto!! Looks amazing. Better not tell Mr or we'll be heading to the store now ;p
Hi guys, I Enjoyed the vegan taste test. Thanks for the recommendation on the best tasting one.You guys Rock!!
Thanks Sandra! We loved doing the taste test... it also gave us a reason to buy 5 pints of ice-cream! :P
That was so fun ! It cost almost $9.00 here in Hawaii, have never seen it on sale more than like 1$ off.I knew right away that would be my favorite flavor heard the cashew ones were the best.
Wow, that's expensive, especially because it's US $. The regular price here is about $7.99 CAD.
The cashew dark chocolate truffle is really good!
Aww, its cute how you were fixing Dee's hair ahha. Too bad there is no Trader Joes in Canada. TJs have great soy based chocolate ice cream.
I wish they would make a cashew cookie dough
Yes, that would be amaze cookie dough balls!
They have, it’s cinnamon cookie dough
Yummy! I love the Carmel one and the Chocolate Cookies n Cream ones that are made from cashew milk 😍. You guys gotta try the chocolate cookies n cream one ✌🏼️
Whaaaaat?! Cookie's n Cream?!!! We didn't see that flavour... maybe it was sold out because it was so good, it sounds delicious!
Salted Caramel Cluster is my fave!
You guys gotta try the Snickerdoodle So Delicious!
A lot of people are recommending that one. We didn't see it... time to go on an ice cream hunt!
I looked for the Snickerdoodle too but I don't think that flavour is available in Canada, sadly!
they all look yummy😍
Mmmmmmm my fav is the salted caramel cluster. 😋
Hi Broc!! 👋🏼
+Love Everything Ⓥ hey Love! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻💟
It is our new obsession now! Can't believe it's vegan!!!
That's my favorite too. I just bought some last night :-)
+The Kale Sandwich Show Riiight? Haha it tastes amazazazazing! 😄
have you had the mint chocolate chip by Coconut Bliss ?
No, we haven't tried that one. Coconut Bliss is like $10 a pint, so we've only had it once when it was on sale. But we have to admit it's very good, that's why it's pricey!
can we get this in the uk?
Well made review
ok I never knew these even excited lol. I'm heading to Walmart hopefully they have some vegan ice cream. Since I live in a small town the closest place is Walmart😞. Not much of a selection to start with and great video! 👍
you should make a podcast! I'd listen
I have a dairy allergy and found this brand at my local Wal-Mart my favorite is the chocolate and the salated caramel ♡
Do you guys have the brand Coconut Bliss in Canada? It's a vegan ice cream brand made with coconut milk but the texture is on point! It never has that icy texture and is super rich and creamy... it's my favorite ice cream next to the new vegan Ben & Jerry's flavors! I know most vegans hold Cashew So Delicious as the pinnacle of vegan ice cream. But Coconut Bliss though...Even my mom who was not vegan most of her life says the chocolate one is on point. Also, the Salted Caramel Coconut Bliss has a different taste to it, but it's literally to die for.
cakecrumb095
Yeah Coconut Bliss has the best texture, I love it! I haven't tried the Salted Caramel flavor yet though. Can't wait to try it
The Kale Sandwich Show
It's too bad Coconut Bliss is so expensive there! It's about $6.99 a pint here in California... still wouldn't buy it unless it's on sale lol worth it though!
FruitBvnny it also depends a bit where you buy in Canada. There are places here where the regular price is 8.50
I'm eating the Salted Caramel Cluster one right now. It's so delicious!! 😊
Salted caramel cluster is my all time fav
Yessss. Cashew Milk and Soy Milk ice creams are my favorite too. Coconut Milk ice cream lacks tbh.
I almost bought the cashew one you both loved but decided on the chocolate coconut milk. I did enjoy the chocolate because you could hardly taste the coconut and almost feel like you’re eating dairy. The texture isn’t as creamy as ice cream. And they’re very expensive.
The salted caramel cluster is my favorite one of the So Delicious brand. I love cashew milk and We drink almond milk.
Mint chocolate by Coconut Bliss is so, so good. Worth the splurge once in a while :)
Have y'all tried the Ben and Jerry. I like the so delicious better but what's your opinion?
I bought the sugar free, gluten free, coconut milk, chocolate and vanilla for my Uncle Bob. He's a diabetic and I wanted to get him a healthier yummier sweet treat! He loved it!! It retails for 4.50 at the local Kroger's, and that's the sale price.
The cashew salted caramel is my favourite from So Delicious too! Have you guys tried the non-dairy Ben and Jerrys yet?
Not yet as it's not yet available in Canada. We are eagerly awaiting it ◉_◉
u guys r so cute
Hi im new to your channel...you guys are so cool✌🍩🍫🍦...Today was my first time buying the So delicious ice cream and i just Love the salted caramel one😳😏... Yum.
I tried the Salted Caramel Cluster one for the first time last week and I've already gone through two of them lol! I was wondering about the coconut ones. I don't like the taste of coconut so I didn't try it. Looks like the texture is way better on the cashew ones anyway. The So Delicious Mocha Almond Fudge Bars are also realllly good!
Oooh, didn't know they made bars. We'll be on the lookout for that next time, sounds decadent!!!
My favourite ice cream is the Rice based ones. I hope this brand comes to Sweden :D
I have never had their pints, but I really like their ice cream bars. Like the ones with vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate ganache and covered in chopped nuts!
Any cashew one is my favorite. The coconut one is to "icy" tasting.. Makes me want to go out and get some....
i LOVE you guys!!
Kale Sandwichers are the best! ❤️
I'm eating the snickerdoodle cashewmilk as of now!
yay to no more tummy issues :)
I think that is also known as Everything But The which is my fave Ben and Jerry's before going vegan. The So Delicious Cashew line is amazing!!!
I've got to try that salted caramel flavor! 😍😍 BTW, I've eaten (in pre-vegan days) both Score and Heath bars here in Kentucky.
The salted caramel one was definitely the best one. The balance of saltiness and sweet caramel was perfect, absolutely recommend you give it a try! :)
I'm currently living in DK and I will definitely tried to find that taste in DK!!!!!
Hope you can find it! If you do, try the salted caramel one, it will not disappoint! 👍
Love the video but the cute puggy won me over. New sub.
*note : add more puggy to videos* ^_^
FYI guys.....B&J has a few flavors of vegan (made of almond milk) non-dairy ice cream and, they're good!!!
I DO want to find that SO salted caramel one, but truthfully, I prefer making "nice cream" in my smoothie maker!
We're waiting for vegan B&J to come to Canada!!! We've heard it's really good. I guess another taste test is in store when we get it... not that we're complaining! :P
+The Kale Sandwich Show LOL You definitely aren't the "complaining type"
Can't wait to try the salted caramel and cookie dough
Yes, we highly recommend the salted caramel, it's unbelievable!
You guys should try the vegan Ben and Jerry's flavors!!!
do you like them? i think they are overly sweet and overly flavored.
Yes, we love making banana "nice cream" as well. We've never tried your combination before, thanks for the idea! It sounds delicious! 😋
i have yet to try their ice cream but was sooo stoked there was a vegan cookie dough flavor! I really hope ben & jerry's makes a vegan cookie dough :3
almond dream / coconut dream makes good versions of vegan ice cream sandwiches and "bon bons" if you ever see it. I also really enjoy the coconut bliss brand. Not sure how their salted caramel compares to so delicious but it is really good! They make yummy ice cream bars as well (=
nothing wrong with having a british accent. nice vid, yum all of 'em
Salted Caramel Cluster 4 Life!! (Try Snickerdoodle flavor, too. best. evarrrrr.)
Which grocery store did you guys find the ice cream on sale?!?! I'm in Canada too but it's usually regular price at all my grocery stores.
We got it at Ambrosia natural foods. It's true though, So Delicious rarely goes on sale so we knew we had to stock up!
Salted caramel cluster all the way!!
Vanilla is my favorite and cookie dough
I've seen these here but not the cashew milk ones! I must find it asap it looks sooooo creamy compared to coconut.... fingers crossed I can find it on sale too haha I definitely don't appreciate or understand the price of some vegan icecreams.
I found the dark chocolate truffle to be too bitter and too rich. I don't like dark chocolate that much to begin with so I think I'd prefer just the plain milk chocolate one. But it was pretty cool how there seemed to be pieces of chocolate in it. Not sure if anyone else noticed this also.
Mmmmm salted caramel....more taste tests please!
More taste tests?? no problem! *note: add more holes to belt* :)
The cashew ones have the best texture!
You guys should think about experimenting with making some homemade tasty frozen treats to see how well and affordable a vegan ice cream could be done at home...
Salted caramel for the win! Cashew based is the best. 👍

From your taste test, I really want to try the salted caramel one :D

snickerdoodle is the best flavor!!!!
I scream for ice cream! You guys rock! :)
you should try the oat cookies dough its so freakin good yummm😋😋😋
Lol “see me eyes” yeah I see them lol 😂
Is that brand soy-based?
