I am so excited to add your channel to my binge watching playlist because you are local to me! I spent two weeks transitioning and just finished my first full week 100% vegan (food, still working on researching household and beauty brands). I am still researching and trying to learn all about my local food options, and cant wait to try the conscious creamery and watch more of your videos for local places to try out!
I'm gonna be honest I cried watching this video because I've been a vegan for 6 years and the only thing I miss is the ice cream but in my country there is NO ONE vegan ice cream option NO ONE, gotta admit I'm so jealous of you guys!
The Organic Consumers Association, an advocacy group, tested 11 samples of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and this week claimed that ten contained traces of glyphosate, or of a related chemical.
The Trader Joe's chocolate cherry is my absolute favorite because it's the lowest in fat and calories and it's still as satisfying as any richer ice cream. My second fave is So Delicious chocolate cookie... it's amazing. My husband and I just tried the Haagen Daaz, both chocolate & peanut butter mocha chocolate cookie flavors and they were really good, but much like their dairy based ice cream very over the top in sweetness and fatty mouthfeel. I don't bother with any vanilla-based ice cream it's just not worth it! SO excited to find out Double Rainbow makes TJ's brand.... totally going to buy that now!
I like the rice dream bars. Tofutti' drumstick type coned ice cream bars are my favorite, they are so amazing!. I am surprised no NadaMoo! It's the best!
Have you tried the Breyers non-dairy? They have cookies and cream and peanut butter vanilla. Very good also. Haven't seen any taste testing of Breyers from vegans out. There on you tube. Does anyone know why? Is there something I should know?
Hi @fruityliving! I'll do one this week. I think it hasn't been done as often because it's not widely available yet. I split my time between DC and Sacramento and I can only enjoy it when I'm on the east coast.
I went on Breyers website and they have 2 vegan ice cream flavors: Vanilla Peanut Butter and Oreo Cookies & Cream. I haven't tried them but they got really good reviews.
There's only one type of vegan ice cream at my store because I live in the South, and honestly I'm surprised there's even one. I'm planning on moving up north somewhere around Chicago, and there will be more around there, so this video is super helpful so I'll know what to try first. (And that bee attack was really funny but I also felt bad for you bc I'm terrified of bees) Love your happy vibes! Keep it going😊🌸🌺🌸
Aww thank you!! Do you have a target near you? They should have vegan ice cream! Although perhaps they carry different things in the South? Also, if you can, definitely contact the manager of your local grocery stores and request specific vegan ice creams! Try to make it a more accessible brand. For instance, if you see they already carry Ben & Jerry's, then it would be super easy for them to get a vegan version because they already have the distributor in place :) Cheers!! -Michelle :)
I’ve recently discovered the cherry chocolate chip soy creamy from Trader Joe’s. Omg I died of happiness when I tasted it... now I’m addicted!! Btw the bee part 👌🏼😂
Agreed, and I am addicted to their Rockiest Road. Although, the cookie dough fudge and the birthday cake cookie dough are very close behind the Rockiest Road for me.
The only thing that I can think of with the so delicious is that their gluten-free is well and that also could be severely affecting the texture of it relating directly or in this case not directly to a normal Dairy based ice cream like she was talking about I don't know if the rainbow brand is or is not gluten free but I know that so delicious is and so vegan and gluten-free just tend to be drier just because it's got none of the gluten so some of that texture does go away but for those of us that are both the only option and I don't mind sweet lol thanks again ladys
I think my favorite brand for ice cream is Coconut Bliss, but I recently tried Nada Moo and was really blown away. The mint chocolate chip was really good. It may kick Coconut Bliss out of the top spot for me. I also agree on Tofutti, that is so good, but I never see it. I have never actually tried the Trader Joes brand, so that is going on the top of my list to try. I react the same way for bees, so don't feel bad.

The Trader Joe’s strawberry oat milk is FAR superior to the cherry choc chip soy ice cream. Costs a bit more, smaller container, but sooo worth it!
Ooh! Thanks for sharing that! Can't wait to check it out :D

I'm a huge fan of the cashew ice cream and NadaMoo. My husband who is an omnivore and doesn't like coconut even loves NadaMoo!

The bee attack might just be the best thing I've seen on TH-cam today :D
OMG! I'm dying right now. That was the most ridiculous reaction to a bee!
Hahahahah I just couldn't cut it out :-P
I am the same way when a bee comes near me. Every. Single. Time!
I like the rice dream bars. Tofutti' drumstick type coned ice cream bars are my favorite, they are so amazing!. I am surprised no NadaMoo! It's the best!
Rockiest Road by Nada Moo is my hands down favorite. I can eat that by the gallon!
A great ice cream is FoMu in the Boston area. Sooo good!

My favorite is the Ben & Jerry's PB & Cookies! 🍦
That's a really good one!

Cashew milk ice cream is THE BEST THING EVER
You two are always so cute! ❤️ love watching your videos!
Aww, thank you for watching!! ❤️
Ben & Jerry's Browne fudge dairy free is my absolute favorite. I really don't like trader Joe's mochi.

Do you guys eat honey? You guys are amazing! Keep up the good work!
We have a local brand here in Ottawa called Oat & Mill that makes ice cream out of oat milk! They make a vegan rolo ice cream that's insanely good! 😍
Laura Herchel Ottawa Ontario ?
Nada moo is the best it's made in Austin TX and I tastes so good!
Shelby Pierce - I was just about to suggest Nada Moo! It is the best!
And they have so many AMAZING flavors!!!! My FAVORITE!!!!
Agreed, and I am addicted to their Rockiest Road. Although, the cookie dough fudge and the birthday cake cookie dough are very close behind the Rockiest Road for me.
Coffee Caramel Fudge from Ben and Jerry's ALL DAY. And the coconut based ones from Trader Joe's.
My favorite ones are the gluten free ones lol
Bees are our friends!! :)
What's your favorite type of vegan ice cream? And is anyone else out there as ridiculous as we are when a bee flies near you? Hahah :)
LOL my dad just gave me an ice
You guys are so funny and pretty
