    This is a great video Sir. I appreciate the information. Ive been considering one of these second generation Camaros for a long time. Such a big difference in structural stability. I love the look of these as well

      Thank you James! I've got about 12 in the series now so be sure to check them out. I love the look of this car and they are getting more and more popular as the price of the Gen 1's continues to go up. Appreciate the feedback and comment. JD

    Great work and persistence John! It’s not quite as easy as taking the front grill off the Jeep lol😜. Looking forward to the next update!

      Hey Tom, I couldn't agree more. The Jeep was much easier to disassemble than this car. I'm making progress though slowly but surely. Thanks for checking in Tom. JD

    I went on Ebay and purchased ($25) the 1978 Z28 Camaro Factory Assembly Manual. Covers all the Camaro's for the year with explosion-view diagrams. It does have some over stamping on part numbers but it was still a great reference manual. Doing great JD.

      Great idea Frank, I will check that out. Thanks for the encouraging words, I struggled with that bumper cover. JD

    I believe I left a Haynes Camaro book in the trunk, that can help assist your plan of attack. I have seen where it's possible to remove the fenders with the front end clip attached, making it a bit easier for reinstallation.

      @JDOffline  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Jay! Yes, I got the manual and have used it for reference several times. I also have seen the entire front clip come off in one piece but I decided to do it this way...it was a lot getting that front bumper cover off. Hope you're doing well. JD

    Man thank you so much for this video. I just wanted to ask, do you think it would be even easier to take off the fenders with the front?

    • @JDOffline
      @JDOffline  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly it probably would have been easier to do it that way. Thanks for checking out the video. JD

    How much did your 383 cost you? Im gonna be buying a 78 myself pretty soon

    • @JDOffline
      @JDOffline  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Cory. I'm in the process of building the motor now so don't have a total cost for you. I got the block for $500 from a junkyard and the initial round of machine work was $350, rotating assembly was about $1600 so it adds up quick. The heads will also be pricey. You can certainly build a 350 for less $$ with less horsepower but the more horsepower you're after the more the cost goes up. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the channel/video. JD

    Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
    from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
    Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
    on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
    station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
    pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
    the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
    turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
    New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
    done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
    crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.:-((

    • @JDOffline
      @JDOffline  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't imagine that being the case here in the US. God Bless America. JD

      @@JDOffline Sadly China dictates the end of use of all combustion cars worldwide. China told our EU politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic or combustion based industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China.... China just rules the world...:-(
