Believe me, I didn't want to come back home. If I had the means I would go back and stay. It's very expensive to live in the cities of Israel. I fell in love with the place, but I will have to wait until I return with the Lord (Zechariah 14.)

Thank you for this walking tour of Old Jerusalem and going to Archeological Park and actually close up to wall of Temple Mount. Have never gotten to see the land of Israel and Jerusalem. I am now much older and needing cane to walk outdoors, this was an easy walking tour while sitting down to watch. Thank you very much and always enjoy your videos and added knowledge of ancient Israel. Brings the Bible stories to life to actually see terrains and buildings mentioned. Thank you so much for this tour!

It's really not the temple mount, the Bible says that the temple was in the city of David and the temple needs lots of water and there's none on the so called temple mount but plenty in the city of David!!!
There's lots of videos that shows how the temple was in the city of David on TH-cam!!!

@@kirkkirkland7244 Torah says the Temple was built on Mount Moriah. And there, indeed, is where Temple Mount is. The dimensions are also consistent with Torah. The City of David is basically across the street and a little downhill in a small valley outside the Old City. It appears there was a palace and homes there. It’s currently under excavation and there are videos of findings as they are discovered. When I was last there, in 2016, it was covered by a parking lot!

    • @D4Disdain
      @D4Disdain 2 ปีที่แล้ว

You can find graffiti and a lot of trash on the arab side of the city, and right at the the entrance of the Lion's Gate as one's is coming from the Mount of Olives, what you see is trash everywhere left there on purpose by the arabs, they trough garbage to the ground. The Jewish and Christian neighborhoods, inside and outside the city walls, are very clean and ordely, but you go to the arab neighborhoods inside and out of the walls, and you gonna think that you are not in the same geographical place, it's chaotic and dirty. But don't take my word for, just look at some videos you can find on youTube.

I had similar thoughts .... it seemed like the stone had a clear coat applied so they were protected from wear and actually glistened as a result. I’ve been to Utah and found it very beautiful. I suspect Idaho has some similar topography. I can see why anyone would enjoy living in that region.

I have just returned from Israel and we stayed in Bethlehem. Unfortunately, I picked up a stomach bug and was unable to go on the two days that our group went to the holy sites in Jerusalem. This was very good to see. Thank you.

Thanks for showing us the Jaffa Gate the old city, and explaining about the building wall constructors graves. This is a blessing to witness.
The view of the Mount of Olive's!
All the way through to the very ending I have been blessed by this.
The Palm 🌴 tree's at the finale of the tour made me feel really blessed, to see them right there on the way from the Mount of Olive's, to the temple entrance!

This is one of the best walking tour of the old city and a part of the Temple Mount. Great effort! And intelligent shooting to avoid discomfort to tourists.
Please make another video on top of the Temple Mount showing what is around the dome of the rock and the entrance of Al Aqsa mosque.

    19:05 I recently gifted myself a 7-branch lamp-stand menorah for the holidays.
I am Christian and recently read the Old Testament for the first time, I felt inspired by the guidance and history behind the golden menorah.
There are so many divine symbols, traditions, and stories that have been omitted from modern Christian Churches.

I have been privileged to visit Israel twice, in 1980 and again in 2015. The southern steps were only visible from a distance on the earlier visit. Our 2015 guide told us he had guided Neil Armstrong, who said climbing the southern steps was a more profound experience for him than walking on the moon.
You did not mention that metal fenced enclosure under Robinson's arch. In 2015 our tour group went into the tunnel in the City of David and hiked the ancient walkway up to the Temple, coming back above ground inside that fence.

    Thank you soooo much.
I hope you drank water and managed to get yourself a coffee. It was a long walk 😀
I was transported the whole time...I was even a bit tired at the end. 😄
You showed us so much and I learnt a lot.
The vision of the stones thrown down to the street below was very sad.
    So much I could say.
Every step you took was fascinating.
    Thank you thank you!
