Kevin was such a big part of my teens and early twenties. The Big Chill, Dave, A Fish Called Wanda and In And Out. It’s so sad to see he’s gotten old because that means I’m old too.
@ I remember rolling my eyes when my Mom was my age now she said all the actors from her childhood were dying, and it was so sad. And now I know the exact sadness she was talking about. Life is indeed so short.
I will never, ever forget Kevin Kline's hilarious character, "Otto," in A Fish Called Wanda with Jamie Lee Curtis, or his magnificent portrayal of "Bottom" in A Midsummer Night's Dream with Michelle Pfeiffer. Kevin is an accomplished actor with a brilliant comedic sense. Just adore him!
Love Kevin Kline and the things that he's been in. Sad to see him getting older and his voice even sounds older, but glad he's still around. (from Sandi)
Her 2nd best movie. Kline is always good but he was sexy and funny in this movie and a perfect foil for Ryan. And Timothy Hutton was, as usual, brilliant.
Meryl Streep may have had the big role in Sophie's Choice, but Kevin Kline's performance in every moment in that film was scene stealing. Such a great actor who can do both comedy & drama flawlessly.
It's Tuesday, do tou know what that means? Everybody works on Tuesday! Charles Grodin's up tight accountant was the perfect compliment to Kevin's exuberant one. It's so hard to choose one favorite of his roles for me.
I first saw Kevin Kline in French Kiss. I was drawn to it because it starred Meg Ryan and she was a fave. Kevin is such a master with other languages. His accent was so good that I thought he was French. I carried that belief for a long time until I saw "Dave." These two movies are some of my all-time favorites. I could watch them non-stop for hours. On a side note, I was shocked to look him up and see that he's married to Pheobe Cates.
I was about 2 years old when Pirates of Penzance the movie came out. There’s a picture of me watching it on the tv around that age and it’s been my favorite musical since. I was in love with Kevin Kline in that movie. He’s so very talented and absolutely amazing
I've absolutely always loved Pirates of Penzance too. I was older than two 😉 Fish Called Wanda was one of the best comedies EVER. And of course, Sophie's Choice. Just heart-breaking. Such a great actor.
I loved Kevin and Diane Keaton in " Darling Companion"...such a treat of a film. I also loved him with Melissa McCarthy as the vet in " The Starling" ❤
Kevin once improved lines during some Shakespeare in the park or something back in the 80’s, to implore people in a funny way to seek cover during the thunderstorm. A friend at the time told me the story, saying he was so in the moment, even during the improv, that it took folks a while to get it. A treasure. Love Kevin. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
He’s a legend. He’s very versatile. A lot of good films and talented. He’s was good in A fish called Wanda, Big chill, Silverado, Cry freedom and Dave. Good voice actor too.
I just watched "Dave" for the fourth time only last week. He was amazing. You'll also got to catch him as the Greek butler in "Princess Caraboo," starring his wife, Phoebe Cates. Perhaps my favorite movie of all time, and it's actually a true story!
😳 WOW! I thought it was just a shady thumbnail, but watching this video I feel like Kevin Kline aged so much more since the last time I saw him anywhere.
I was in a movie with Kevin called consenting adults I was the security guard in the booth when Kevin Spacey drove into his driveway. It was great fun loved working with both Kevin’s.
He was great in Wanda In Dave, great In Dave sitting down at homeless shelter he showed how supple and in shape he was then As president in Dave he gave a speech a model of presidential action thought class grace
@@Aurorak-i6l Same here! Emperor´s Club is one of those movies which sticks with you for life. And the other one is great too; I remember the actor who played Anakin in the Star Wars prequels was also in it....
I love Kevin Kline. My favourite male actor. I was excited to see he was in this new series. It wasn’t easy to watch him in this latest role because (spoiler alert) he isn’t playing a favourable character, but it’s also because he is soooo good in this role. He’s been in so many amazing movies and roles, and my favourites are Life as a House and French Kiss. He really is terrific with accents!! If you didn’t know he was from the US you’d think he was a Frenchman who speaks good English! He truly is an International Treasure.
Loved all his movies especially Sophie's Choice but two others come to mind in the moment. I recommend Grand Canyon and Life is a House, both well worth watching.
Kevin Kline is such a great actor. His comedic timing is brilliant!

Life is so so short.

Yesss that was a great movie.
I’ve had a huge crush on Kevin since “Big Chill”. Everything since then has been frosting!

Love Kevin Kline and the things that he's been in. Sad to see him getting older and his voice even sounds older, but glad he's still around. (from Sandi)
My favorite movie, French Kiss, with Meg Ryan!
Her 2nd best movie. Kline is always good but he was sexy and funny in this movie and a perfect foil for Ryan. And Timothy Hutton was, as usual, brilliant.
Love that movie. I wish they’d make it available to buy or stream.
Mine too!
French kiss is hysterical - great movie, oddly never available to stream anywhere
not available to stream- whoever bought the rights locked it up. Wonder why.
The Emperor's Club and Life As a House - two great Kline movies.
Meeting him was still the best birthday present I ever got when I was turning 17.
Kevin Kline, one of the finest actors there, part of an elite group of fine actors. So great to hear him talk.
Meryl Streep may have had the big role in Sophie's Choice, but Kevin Kline's performance in every moment in that film was scene stealing. Such a great actor who can do both comedy & drama flawlessly.
He caught my attention in that film. Whew! 👏👏👏👏👏
Brilliant actor --no contest!
The "bridge"scene in Sophie's Choice...
"See ya cracker" Is the scene I remember.
Great seeing Kevin, great fan of his work. Thank you sir for just being who you are!
Fun interview. Jimmy is totally excited. Kevin Kline is smart!. I love him!
I absolutely adore DAVE, it's one of the best films ever made, if only we had more Daves....
It's Tuesday, do tou know what that means? Everybody works on Tuesday! Charles Grodin's up tight accountant was the perfect compliment to Kevin's exuberant one. It's so hard to choose one favorite of his roles for me.
He was awesome in a fish call wanda
If I had been in the scene where Otto smelled the boot, I would have been fired for laughing.
Don't call me stupid!!!
He was fabulous as the pirate king in Pirates of Penzance !! ( in the early 80's)

I watched A fish called wonda for the first time a few weeks ago man what a funny fucking movie so happy he won an Oscar for his role in that film
I absolutely love Kevin Kline.. My life as a house is my favorite.. But he's great in everything.
Try to find a movie where Kevin Kline doesn’t shine. You can’t. He’s a fantastic actor 💙
He was awesome in A fish called Wanda , he made laugh so hard. He’s great.

In that scene from Disclaimer, Kevin Kline looked like Lawrence Olivier.
Played a great Cole Porter in Delovely
Oh yes! Wonderful film! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I always imagine him as Tulio from The Road to ElDorado, XD
Love him in “Soapdish”

Geez I haven't seen him for many years on TV or cinema, I didn't realise he was 77 already!
It’s great to see Kevin older!
Don’t call me stupid!
Love his roles in Dave and Last Vegas, also he was Raúl Juliá's understudy in The Three Penny Opera.
When Frank Langella says the line, "It's not his job, it's MY job! MY JOB!", I immediately thought of Dick Cheney and "W."...

"Its KKK Ken, he's trying to kkk kill me"😂😂😂😂
My gosh Kevin Kline, my living legend and my favorite movie president.
Kevin Kline is one of the best actors. His low key fame is what makes him so respected.
And he scored Pheobe Cates... ;-)
Loved all his movies especially Sophie's Choice but two others come to mind in the moment. I recommend Grand Canyon and Life is a House, both well worth watching.
I also loved him in The Anniversary Party!
Kevin in last Vegas was the best 😂
I adore him
First time I saw Kevin Kline was at Circle in the Square in the show "Loose Ends". He was amazing.
Love Kevin Kline best wishes to him and his family
Whenever I think of Kevin Kline, I think of him in Silverado
OMG ... at 3:27 he starts sounding just like Mr. Fischoeder (who he voices on Bob's Burger) and I can't get the image out of my head !!
Good actor and he still has the looks.
