    Hey..
I wear the "Calmer" for one month. It does help me quite a lot with reducing high frequencies and loud noise for around - 25%. It has a technique that avoiding this high frequencies to get its way inside our ears with their original power.
Sadly, i can't say that it helped my tinnitus to go away, but by avoiding hard and high frequencies that triggers my tinnitus to rise up hardly to get inside my ears, it is helping me to enjoy less trigets like this to disturb me and making me suffer more from it.
I hope that i explained myself well.
    Mickey.

I think you explained it well. This has been my experience so far with these- it does not reduce my tinnitus directly, but it reduces harsh sounds enough to reduce tinnitus flare ups. I have a lot of trouble wearing earbuds and earplugs for a long period of time, but am finding these surprisingly comfortable to wear for fairly long periods

I have them in right now! I can't say they make much difference to my tinnitus, but I do feel 'calmer' wearing them on days when my tinnitus is bad. After your video I am going to try them for longer periods, as up until now I've only worn them for an hour max each time. Going try a full day today. Thanks.

The ringing from Tinnitus is not from an external source, it's from within the ear. Calmer filters external noise, there is no way it helps tinnitus at all.

True. It won't undo the damage that caused tinnitus in the first place. However, already damaged hair cells in the inner ear will be sensitive to specific frequencies. I suppose theoretically that it could dampen resonance in these frequencies and reduce those triggers.
By extension it could theoretically prevent that damage at the frequencies it absorbs. These frequencies are typical in a similar place in the spectrum for most sufferers.

Interesting insight! RE: Tinnitus/Waveguide/Flare Calmer. Although not intended for Tinnitus I thought I'd give these a go back at product launch as some sufferers had purportedly experienced improvements. I also have a friend who suffers from tinnitus who borrowed them so these observations are not purely based on my own experiences. As they effectively filter out certain frequencies of everyday life some of which help mask our tinnitus the tinnitus was massively compounded. As a musician and producer for over 30-years (... sadly the cause of my tinnitus) the wave guide concept on which these are based is not a useful bit of pseudo science as it basically just dulls your ability to hear certain incredibly useful frequencies. From 2x user reviews these are not beneficial for tinnitus and if you want to filter out the world and feel calmer buy some earplugs for £1!

Tinnitus is a neurological condition. It is beyond your ears and in your brain. Ear protection can help to prevent the damage that causes tinnitus, but won't do anything to relieve the ringing once you do have it, which I also do.
    I wish it was different.

I agree with you. They become itchy and uncomfortable after a little bit. I really have to jam them into my ear, otherwise they just fall out. I haven’t realized any benefits with regard to my tinnitus. It took 60 days from the time of purchase to the time of delivery, so I’m not sure the 30 day return policy even matters.

I have neurological events (migraines, tinnitus, sensitivity to sound) and thought these would help. These hurt! The silicon is far more firm than I expected. I just got mine today. I believe my ear canals are not the same size, so that is a bit bothersome. They do really seem to take the edge off of surprising sounds and I can hear my own voice more than normal. Kinda weird, but whatever. My tinnitus is still there, but its not as bad as it regularly is. They seem uncomfortable in one ear (like I mentioned before, I think one ear canal is smaller than the other) so maybe I should have gone for the night-time model which are supposed to be made out of softer silicone. 🤷‍♀️ You say they offer free shipping to the US, but I guess they pulled one over on me because that nearly doubled the price. Doesn't seem fair if I want to return these because then I'll be paying even more. I guess I'll have a word with customer service.
