This is huge. I’m taking notes! And I have to say, I seriously appreciate the amount of dialogue you kept in this video. This isn’t a quick watch, it’s a detailed breakdown and that just means there’s more material to absorb! Thank you x1000

Incredible how I was training for 6 months and nobody ever explained to me any of the things Jeff was able to in less than 20 minutes. I never knew about the leg swing in the double leg (they told us it's just like a deadlift :o ) or how exactly an active long guard should look like, nor the technical differences in pivots you can use for different kinds of kicks!
The movement was flowing very gracefully. You are an awesome teacher and he is a great student! Would love to see the series continue. I feel like I learned a lot too just by watching.
Andrew learns so quickly! I don’t think I have ever seen someone progress that much in just 7 days. I would definitely love to see an update on his progress! Having the techniques that you drill come out during sparring is super satisfying to experience
It's always amazing to see the break down for the conceptual theory itself, the technique, and then the application. Hope to visit one of his seminars one of these days

This was a great video to watch. Jeff, you're an incredible teacher. Knowledgeable, precise in technique, and patient. Heck, I learned a couple of new things from just watching I'm going to be happy to implement myself! 🙂 It was great seeing you with a total beginner because I saw a lot of my starting self in Andrew as I'm sure a lot of people did. Unfortunately, most beginner knowledge of fighting comes from the two worst sources possible: movies and TV. A little bit better nowadays with TH-cam and MMA so prevalent, but misconceptions still abound. So it's completely understandable to see where he was coming from. To his credit, massive improvement in a very short time. I'd recommend he continue training on a regular basis and hope he does so.
Good stuff, Jeff. A student is going to perform better when he or she believes the instructor cares about their improvement and who they are as a person. You convey that. Keep winning. This video was awesome. To take someone with at least a little boxing experience, and turn them into a beast by the end of the 7 days goes to prove that Practise Makes Perfect. The knowledge drops here were great. And it also shows that with a great teacher, dedication and repetition the improvements are off the charts.
