He said in his speech in 1947 that you're free to go to your mandirs, you're free to go to your mosques. religion of pakistanis will not be concern of state. Everyone will be equal to state.
These were the words and vision of a muslim founder of muslim country's and aligns with islamic belief. He was sick of religious and caste division done by hindu leaders and that made him fight for a separate country.
