Whatever Ramjeth Malani says is true to my knowledge. Whatever properties and businesses of Sindhi Hindus in Hyderabad and Karachi were captured and occupied by migrants (Mohajirs) from present day Hindustan, which was condemned by Mr. Jinnah and that was why Mr. Jinnah disappointed from Prime MInister Liaqat Ali.

It is such a pleasure to watch Ram Jethmalani speak. This is the first time I heard about the details of how and why he and his family migrated. His honesty, integrity, legal acumen and contribution to Indian public life are legendary. We are fortunate to still have him active in public life. I didn't realize that he was in a contemporary of MA Jinnah in any way. I would love to find out if he wrote any memoirs. BTW MA Jinnah was one of the most successful lawyers in the Bombay bar. I didn't know he had attempted to start his career in Karachi.

+PARVEEN SADIQ brother there is always uniting forces around us to unite with one and the all. Just one is required to find out and recognise those uniting forces. As you found language is uniting force between Sindhis, so on try to find out uniting forces with Muhagirs too, they left every thing they owned and came to you to get united with you in the name of religion. use whatever mean you get to unite with every one around and ignore everything which can separate you from others.

The solution to this is giving Muhajirs a seperate province or place where they can form a govt.
This happens in India all the time.
New provinces are carved out as per the aspirations of the people.
In a real democracy, these things are automatically taken care of.

India was created in 1947, that's a fact.
Pakistanis have never claimed Pakistan existed 1947, because they're not stupid like Indian's. But you can't ignore the fact that all the ethnicities of Pakistan share lot of similarities going back to the Indus Valley Civilisation.
All the regional languages share the same script, everyone has accepted Urdu as the national language, they all have the same ethnic dress, their food is very similar, there are way more similarities than those existing in India. Similarities develop over time due to shared history.

Hindustan and India are names given by foreigners, did your family name you or a passing stranger on the street?
Identity is first and foremost self created not given by others.
Bharat was a name taken from the King of a tiny kingdom near Nepal, it's nothing to do with India or South Asia as a whole. It has been used at various times to describe a region, never a country nor a nation.

Stop being so thick, today's Pakistan, even if the name was not there, has always been separated from India. See what Rasool Bux Palijo (a Sindhi nationalist) wrote about the matter. Even Ptolemy separated the region centred around the Indus (today's Pakistan) with the region situated around the Ganges (today's India), and this thousands of years before the Partition.
There's no "Indian" culture like there's no "White" or "Black" - there have always been differences, therefore the Partition.
