Oh... one advantage to Duet Display is it allows multitouch input to your computer. That is the advantage of it over xDisplay and others.

This can be used to control any DAW. Unfortunately, Live isn't the best for touch screen interaction. Bitwig Studio, as I've read, has the leg up on Live.

By that do you mean that one could, for eg, solo two channels with a two finger press? Or launch X amount of clips at once?

Thanks mate! Just put it up a few hours ago. Even if 10 people learn something it's worth it. Thanks. Feel free to share it ;)

This is exactly what I was looking for! I noticed you brought up fabfilter on the ipad but didn't control it. Is it possible to control external plugins with the ipad as well?

If you use it as a second screen, yes.

Nice, thanks I'll give that a go.
On the iPad MIDI controller to Ableton front I use Touchable which is very good, prefer it to Conductr and Lemur and the template pack is well worth the extra.
Controllers are the way to go when using Ableton to play live. Don't have Push yet but I do use an Akai APC mini (great value and ergonomics) a Novation Launch Control, Touchable on iPad. A Yamaha WX7 MIDI wind controller and Audiofront MIDI Expression interface with expression pedals.
Thinking about a USB socket connected to my brain for the next upgrade 8

This is great, but you accidentally said both Windows and PC at the beginning. You still get an upvote.
