Hey Nigel and Sue we have loved following your travels around our amazing country and we look forward to the next chapter. It would have been hard farewelling the van not only because of all the amazing memories that you have created while traveling, but also that you fitted the van out to fit your way of life and now it has moved one. We look forward to the next adventures and also thank you so much for sharing with us your Australian travels as you have taken us to places that we won't see in our lifetime. Sty safe Coen and Jay xx
Don't watch many Australian vanlife videos but your channel has been awesome over the time I have watched.Really did feel your pain there as you said goodbye as our van has become part of us too.Looking forward to your new ventures and also very lucky buyers with you 2 putting in so much work for them to be happy driving away.
Thank you. It was a tough decision to sell, but we needed to if we were going to continue the adventure elsewhere in the world. Exciting times coming up!
So awesome that you guys take so much care before selling, most people would not bother, I hope I find someone that cares about their vehicle as much when I buy one next year. Most would leave it for the new owner, very commendable
I've loved following your journey around Australia. Looking forward to your next chapter. And totally blown away with the amount of time and effort you put into getting the van ready for sale.
It's like you just purchased this fir yourselves and are making sure everything is good before going on your travels. Nobody takes such care to make sure everything is perfect before selling their camper, it says a lot about you guys, remind me if I ever want to buy a camper, ti buy one from you.
@@nigelandsueadventures I'm in the UK and never fancied Australia, I do now! Its stunning, you two go the extra mile to show it in all its amazing glory! xx
Looking forward to the next leg of NaSAdventures, but have to say it's been an absolute joy watching your Big Lap! 🎉 Given everything you've seen and done in Oz, not sure Europe's prepared for you guys - thorough and unafraid of the path less beaten! Catch up soon! ❤ xx
Thank you for sharing your van adventure with us. You have inspired us to try the nomad life. Looking forward to watching your other adventures. Cheers from NZ
We’ve so enjoyed watching your travels, your content is great we’ve loved watching. Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for you both in the future. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
As a traveller hung onto every second of your videos. Hope you are on the road soon and hope we might meet up in some Idyllic corner of the country. David 🇦🇺
I agree with everyone, you certainly went above and beyond for the new buyers - geez wish it was me lol as it's gorgeous! sad times but not for long :) I'm a newbie to your channel so going backwards to see your Oz journey and forwards too baha
Kiwi here, love Aussies and Aussie. Great country. Only regret is I never moved over permanently, always some crap happening in NZ I have to be here for. Lived in Alice 2 years, fantastic.
How good did the 4wd dually set up perform on beaches? im guessing the Duals have lots of contact but the front tyres... do they cut into the sand? Ive seen some people remove the front spacer and fit a more typical 4wd front tyre... Resulting in needing to carry 2 types of spare... Would you say that is something you would consider next time? Or no need? did you have all terrain tyres? or just standard light truck tyres
to paint wheels just get a paint brush with diesel start at the bottom of the wheel an wet the tyre spray tire wet again overspray is gone so easy saves all that crazy masking
Have recently discovered your channel and we are both really enjoying your videos. Apologies if you have already discussed this, but how much more of Australia did the 4x4 system allow you to explore? If we bought a newish rear-wheel drive Sprinter, is there anywhere significant we couldn’t get to? I suppose Cape York, and driving around Fraser Island might be two locations? Thanks again and looking forward to your next adventure (while we catch up on your previous).😊
Hey Chris, definitely Fraser Island would be out (pretty sure you're not allowed to take a 2wd vehicle over there). We know people who've driven 2wd to Cape York, it really just depends on when you go. The year we did it, a young girl went up in a Hyundai i30! There's a few of the good campsites it definitely helped, and of course, driving on the beach. If you have good tyres that will help you get to a lot of places (all terrain).
Thank-you for your prompt reply Sue & Nigel. Your 519 4x4 Sprinter is rare and valuable, and the fit out you did was amazing: new owners are very lucky. Happy travels 😊
we enjoyed watching your Aussie travels. Looking forward to the next continent. Europe? Keen to see if you buy an existing campervan or do another self build. Much harder to do a self build in another country especially without a home to work from
Very exciting, and your van was a good buy for the new owners. I'm sure they will love it. 🤗
I think so too! We miss it a lot.
@@nigelandsueadventures yes I can imagine. I think we will miss it too. 🤗

By the way, don't they fill stone chips in Australia with epoxy
Probably yes, but it wouldn’t pass a safety certificate which is required for sale.
Thanks Geoffo. Old Nige is pretty particular when it comes to things like that.

We did have AT tyres, the first set were Kumho 215/75 but then we had to change to 205/65 as the kumho weren’t available on Australia.
I thought that the weather was beautiful one day and great the next lol 😂
That’s the slogan, not the reality haha

Where are you planning to live which is closer to Nigel's work?
You’ll have to keep watching to find out!
Change is inevitable. May your next evolutionary life be as pleasant as the last.
Thank you! There will always be challenges, but plenty of awesome adventures too.
Will the van stay in QLD?
They buyers were Qld based, but I'm sure they have plans to travel too.
Dude you never ever ever get under a vehicle on just a Jack unless you you no want to be in the land of the living 😳
100%. The vehicle wasn't jacked up - Nigel was just using the jack to support the empty fuel tank as he unbolted it.
Wow, I'd buy anything you guys were selling! You're meticulous!
haha, thank you Jillian, we wanted it to be just right for the new buyers.
The End 📕
