    Made it this evening. Added Himalayan salt and a tea Spoon of organic Coconut Oil. As just finished a 48 Hour Fast. The recipe was delicious! Thank you for sharing ❤

    I'll bet this is so good! One thing I would add is whole coriander seeds along with the pepper corns. I use them in all my broths.
    I am new to your channel, but honestly I would love to see lots more of both air fryer and instant pot recipes. I just got a Ninja Foodi, which does both. So I'm just learning how to make healthy, easy meals with it on my anti-inflammatory diet.

      I love the idea of adding coriander! I'll add them next time for sure. And I have lots of air fryer stuff coming soon! Thanks for your comment!

    I’ve been wanting a easy quick homemade vegetable broth recipe. I’m excited to try this recipe. I don’t know why I’ve not thought of putting spices in my broth before. Thanks! I look forward to some clean eating soup recipes.

    Can I freeze the jars of broth when they are completely cool? Or do you recommend freezing in plastic freezer containers?

    • @onetweetygirl71
      @onetweetygirl71 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can freeze mason jars. You do need to leave a headspace for when it freezes. I would let it naturally defrost and not force it. The glass can crack. Mason canning jars are not like "pyrex" glass. (I can't think of the term. Lol) they will can and will break/shatter.

    How long can this broth be frozen?

    • @Thespicyapron
      @Thespicyapron  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      3 months is a good length. It's probably good for longer, but that's about how long I'd keep it frozen.

    How do you use the vegetable after you make the Broth or just discard them

    • @Thespicyapron
      @Thespicyapron  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tend to discard them. But I'm sure some could be used in soups and other dishes.

    Personally, I’m 57, need to eat cleaner to avoid kidney stones, lose some weight, and change my Midwest high protein eating habits. I have found I can eat more vegetables, beans, etc but need to have spices and flavor. Would love the instant pot recipes as that can help with dinners and then lunches for the remainder of the week. My goal is to walk the Appalachian Trail at 60. I need to start the process now to be healthy and ready for this adventure.

      What an amazing goal! I have wanted to walk that trail for a long time! Switching to a clean eating diet will really help you with all of those goals. (My sister and hubby started it about 6 months ago and both have gotten in amazing shape! They just got back from doing the Camino de Santiago trail in Spain!)

    I like to eat my fresh veggies and save frozen scraps for my broth. Using all those fresh veggies I think would cost a bit to make the broth.
