@@rebeccalove9169 Did you watch that video? The grandma is all about getting as much publicity as possible. There are no reports of any kind that back up the grandma's statements. The parents of the kid dispute what grandma says, including the part about grandma going camping
@@ishmiel21 super fantastical but so far fetched. The origins of the Lemuria map was based off of something to do with lemurs hence the name Lemuria. I forget everything I learned about it cos it's so far fetched and I'd rather save space in my brain for things that make sense. What blows my mind is that my tablet even knows the word Lemuria😳. It even capitalizes it for me😂
Kids imaginations can definitely be crazy, I have a 6 year old and he says some wild stuff, but I don’t think he or any kid I’ve met could ever makeup something as crazy as a robot identical to their grandmother abducting them and then stage the whole thing! Wild story, I wonder what he thinks of it today now that he’s older
i personally believe the story is fake. What little kid uses the words distorted and other higher level words? even the grandma states what he was describing was above is comprehension.
There is a lot more details to this story if u are interested. Mr. Ballen does a good version along with the missing enigma and many others. Also he appeared on a TV show when he was around 13. He still tells the same story and so does his family. He never says the fake grama was a robot he says that her body gave off a sparkling light in the moon light which as a young kid reminded him of a "robot". I highly suggest doing more research before making a conclusion.
David Paulides (Missing 411) is a disingenuous book salesman. He couldn’t care less about the victims or their families. Many of the cases that have been covered in his books and docs have had a staggering amount of new evidence and some have even been solved. Not only does he refuse to update cases, but he gets angry and claims revenue on videos other people make on the cases he includes in M411. He obviously doesn’t want any sort of resolution; he doesn’t even reach out to the families. He omits all evidence that don’t play into the narrative he’s pushing. He shouldn’t be trusted, and the M411 cases should be covered with all recent evidence included because many of them have logical explanations now.
@@ColovianFurHelmI think what you’re saying is wildly exaggerated. Yes Some of the cases do have some new evidence but the great majority of the cases he’s written about are just as he stated. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting David and he definitely does care about the families who are missing a loved one so please keep your unfounded opinions to yourself.
Am I the only one who find the one with the robot grandma not mysterious? I work with kids this age and it's exactly the stuff they come up with from the top of their head for fun. The kid was only gone for five hours for christs sake, why does this come up time and time again?
most people actually believe there's a period you have to wait before reporting a missing person. some police departments actually perpetuate this myth sadly enough.

My first question would be: what predators are in the area, a small kid would have no chance in the face of a hungry mountain lion, the attack would be instant and it would most likely carry the prey away from the busy area. Second would be the human factor, either abduction or murder with somebody from those present there involved, if you think about it, a large forested area is the perfect place to conceal a murder or kidnapping...
I want to start a new life. First thing I'mma do? Go to work. Next? Stay till lunch, 'cause I love cold sandwiches. THEN, I'm going to start a conversation, run off, toss each of my boots a few hundred yards in different directions- just to fuck with people- then hoof it, barefoot, through a forested area to a highway, and drive- again, barefoot- off to completely reestablish a new identity with zero planning.

One of the funniest things about conspiracy theories for me is how lemurians have become the actual name certain ancient civilizations use, despite the name Lemuria coming purely from a more modern speculator to identify an otherwise unnamed continent he was theorizing, just because his connecting evidence was the existence of lemurs in two disparate areas.
The world has things we will never understand happen. The last story really got me as i have a special needs son myself and even considering something like that could happen made me panic for a second. He is 8 years old, doesn't understand danger and loves to explore. So i have to be on my toes. I feel for the parents of dennis it must have been terrible having to go through that. This planet of ours has mysteries we will never understand....the fact that the missing 411 phenomenon exisits and some of the stories of bodies showing up sometimes hundreds miles away, while injured or not dressed for the weather conditons. Within hours of the search and there is no physical way they could have made it there that fast....stuff like that. Its super interesting.
Man... the stories with missing kids breaks my heart. I can't even begin to imagine what the parents go through. Ot hits harder once you have a kid of your own doesn't it?
14:26 wait how do you call your spouse immediately in fact, why would you call her immediately? Why would another Worker hire an attorney? I’ve heard this case before “M411 D.P it’s all about the money though, will leave out facts, details etc just to make the story better and make that money” but I’ve never heard the part about the crew! I mean, if Chris popped off getting in a fight with someone only to have that someone murder him, punch him and he fell and hit his head something like that. Forest is the best place to get rid of a bod!
Missing 411 is my favorite thing to learn about. The way people just vanish off the face of the earth is very intriguing. I'm so curious what that person sees the moment they vanish. I'm talking about the cases with people who vanish in 5 seconds. Like you were just walking 20 feet in front of me where the hell did you go.
Great video as always... In the first case (robot grandma) the kid would be an adult now so I would be curious to know if anyone has verified the story with him since it happened.
In my mind when I think about the Chris Thompkins case I think that if he was working in a multi-man land surveying crew out in the woods and anyone had enough problems with the guy to kill him, they would have all the tools and resources to easily kill the guy and hide the body. While I haven't been able to find any specifics of what the crew was doing ( I can only assume they were trimming trees to get line of site for an instrument.) most if not all men involved would likely be carrying or at least have access to a machete, hatchet, saw or full sized axe along with shovels that all these men should have been very competent with for the scope of the work they would do on a day to day basis. Being a land surveyor can take you out to some incredibly isolated and rarely traveled areas, it surprises me that more of these kinds of cases don't occur in my profession (or at least don't get much coverage).
I feel like some of these disappearance’s could be linked to portals. Crazy theory I know, but given how they go from one spot to another so quickly, might not be too crazy of a theory.
Oh god, Ryker Webb lived in the same town my mom and little brother live in. The area is very wooded towards the western end of the town, and very hilly. No grizzly bears, though. No idea why that was mentioned, southern Missouri doesn't get those lol

A man in Maine in the 1990s went outside to smoke behind his trailer and never came back inside. His wife found his shoes right where he always stood, no prints in the snow, and no evidence of a struggle. He was never seen again, and the media never covered the story, and it was covered up. Nearly 30 years later, and nobody knows where that Man went. He disappeared entirely, he had pets, kids, a wife, a home, a good job.. terrifying stuff.

@andy. that is what you are supposed to do anytime you are involved with police with something that serious. everything you say will be used against you, and you could become a suspect just for saying the wrong thing or even being too nervous while being interviewed.
If you want a good explanation for missing 411 cases I can’t recommend ‘missing enigma’ enough on TH-cam. Very good case studies and does a ton of research and even goes to the areas to show the terrain. The wilderness is a big and scary place, travelling even 2 minutes off path can lead to getting lost and then remaining lost without equipment will lead to exposure and then death. Following your passing animals and weather will scatter you and your belongings. It’s simply a fact the two biggest killers in hiking etc is lack of experience and then over confidence. Weather and lack of water/food kills and if you’re alone a simple trip or fall can lead to a broken bone or serious injury that you may not be able to recover from. When it comes to cases like this the answers are normally the most simple and rational. Aliens, kidnapping, human trafficking are all exciting and scary but when you’re alone with nobody around for miles it’s more than likely chalked up to misadventure and human error.
No, it's not restricted to parks alone. It's cases that fit certain criteria, I. e. Point of separation from family/friends, near water and granite (boulderfields), lack of shoes/clothing and condition of their feet, time/distance, autopsy/declared cause of death, etc.. Hope this helps as there is much more to it than I've listed. Cheers

@@rebeccalove9169 Did you watch that video? The grandma is all about getting as much publicity as possible. There are no reports of any kind that back up the grandma's statements. The parents of the kid dispute what grandma says, including the part about grandma going camping
Just look into the Lemurian theory and everything attached to it is so far removed from reality!!
@@kennykaniff Oh. I totally have. It's pretty silly. It's super cool sounding for sure, but it's a little silly
It even capitalizes it for me😂
The 2 creepiest disappearances I ever heard were Brian Shaffer and Brandon Lawson.
Especially the detail given and the sense it makes. However it's probably not real
@@ThisHandleIsTakenTryThisIs there a direct quote from the kid in which these words are used?
@@LongDongJohnson0705 not a direct quote mb but the grandma did say what the kid was describing was above his comprehension which makes no sense.
Yes, thank you!!!
You sound like you have been watching the Lore Lodge. Their entire channel is based on trying to discredit David Paulides.

Am I the only one who find the one with the robot grandma not mysterious? I work with kids this age and it's exactly the stuff they come up with from the top of their head for fun. The kid was only gone for five hours for christs sake, why does this come up time and time again?
What parent would wait 2 whole hours before reporting a 3 year old missing???
Mine…
most people actually believe there's a period you have to wait before reporting a missing person. some police departments actually perpetuate this myth sadly enough.
An exceedingly stupid one, it would appear.
Alot of ppl use to b told tht u had to b mia for 48 hrs before the gov wld Even consider u mia otherwise they'd try classify esp a kid as a runaway 🤷♀️ tht and the fact there's ppl to everything out here
@@eyes2c..519 true, but the passing of this made it seem like the parents didn't even bother looking for him for that long
Opiuhm is a very good narrator love hearing her on the channel
I have to admit, The Maverick Files is one of my top ten favorite channels on TH-cam.
Thanks for your hard work man!
Beautifully narrated and great artistic photography, one of the best TH-camrs sharing their artistic flare through story telling. I have always enjoyed his style of work and always look forward to any of his new releases.
One of my favorite youtubers covering one of my favorite topics, Gold!
I walked 6 km through the the bush in 90 mins as a 3yo. Lucky i apparently knew where i was going but i surprised the hell out of everyone when i arrived all of a sudden. 3 year olds can move quite quickly.
Some of these stories I'd never heard of... the Mary Sloan story breaks my heart! And so glad about that little boy, Ryker...
Oh man. You should definitely get into Lore Lodge. Aiden has been covering cases like the Missing 411 for quite a while now.
The channel friend Missing Enigma too.
Lore Lodge? You mean that right winger weirdo?
Hey man! Love this channel and your other one, T6, keep up the killer work!
You dropped this at the perfect time. Night.
The intro is iconic
I forgot your chennel exist until I came back to it doubting wether I saw your videos or not until I hear your intro
David Politis did not do his due diligence with a lot of these cases. Many of them boil down to shoddy police work just not recovering enough evidence
I love the opening sequence for these videos a lot! Another great video btw. Thanks for the entertainment! Cheers!🍻
Lol for real
I came here after your q&A.. thinking like, oh he has another channel. Awesome! I didn't even know. Then I get here and realize I'm already subbed

I'm from NorCal, and I love how you covered that Shasta weirdness. There are some . . . interesting people up there, that's for sure. LOL
Absolutely perfect timing. I literally just today remembered this channel and watched a few videos. Too bad I can't stay up much longer today. But I'll be back another night.
Good job Maverick!🤘im guessing marys story happened out mount Graham? That mountain has some serious trixter energy. I've seen weird lights, heard weird sounds, and been worken up by raging snowstorms. Lucky to get off the mountain. 1 hour+ drive to the top of the mountain is amazingly beautiful. If you go be respectful be alert. Be safe.
This episode was very emotional. Great work Maverick Files. ❤
You have to keep up this 411 cases!! It’s what brought me here ❤
The world has things we will never understand happen.
I hear stories about what people see in the woods around where I live, and I have no problem believing that people just disappear. We are not alone.

T6 Maverick Files is back ! 😊

Wooooooooo! Maverick Files!🎉🎉🎉
Great video as always... In the first case (robot grandma) the kid would be an adult now so I would be curious to know if anyone has verified the story with him since it happened.
We all unite for a new maverick files episode
Maverick files is sooo back man I nearly bust a move when the intro hit
Finally another og channel to binge great content and narration bro 💪
He's back!!!

Apologies for my misinformation. I referred to an article stating common species of predatory animals usually found in the Montana woodlands & bears popped up as a higher population than most other areas of the US. Thanks for the correction, I appreciate it

Obviously the workers killed Chris. 50ft away and what? He just kept walking into the woods because he wants to disappear? No. They killed him
Why would they kill him?
@@RandyBaumery-s4i Why would one of his co-workers hire a lawyer and refuse to answer any questions?
@@astuteandy okay so they all conspired to murder him and to date nobody has come forward? Even so called code of silence Mafia members come forward. Even people who swore to classified secrets like Snowden have talked. I don't think that they know what took him.
Either my response didn't go through, or else it was deleted. What I basically said was that if it was a plan to murder him, they've kept better silence than ex Mafia or someone like Snowden. I personally think they don't know what took him.
@andy. that is what you are supposed to do anytime you are involved with police with something that serious. everything you say will be used against you, and you could become a suspect just for saying the wrong thing or even being too nervous while being interviewed.
Thank you T6 ❤
Interesting correlation to missing people followed immediately by extreme weather events.
1:30 SVDDEN DEATH ACT I, I FUCKING JUMPED BECAUSE I KNEW WHERE THAT IS FROM
If you want a good explanation for missing 411 cases I can’t recommend ‘missing enigma’ enough on TH-cam.
+1 for missing enigma, for sure. He actually goes to the sites when able, mostly in the southwestern US.
Yes! I've been listening to him and Aiden Mattis from Lore Lodge cover the cases and possible new ones.
Zealous Beast is going through the books one by one. He exposes many of the 'discrepancies' in the cases Paulides presents as '411'.

Thank you for another great video
Missing 411 is when a person goes missing in a national park they have to be in a national park from what I understand
Cheers
