Congratulations to Jerry for sure..not doubt that back in the day when he said he had been to the bars as a kid with his dad..it wasn't really that uncommon to see kids in bars back then..him being from Leavittsburg i am sure he has to remember the old Bottle an Cork and also the Wagon Wheel..Jerry and i being around the same age as i graduated in 75 but from a different school district my Grandparents were from the Burg as well and i would spend plenty of weekends at their place and they both loved their beer..Their routine was to go back and forth between the Bottle and Cork and the Wagon Wheel as they lived within walk distance to them..they would grab a table and spend their whole day in those bars drinking fish bowls of draft beer and i would sit at the bar sipping some soda..will never forget that old juke box playing Winchester Cathedral almost constantly and even had a shoe shine boy make the rounds there..Saw plenty of fights as well..willing to guess that Jerry and i may have even crossed paths if his Dad went to those bars in the Burg back then..My father retired from Copperweld and probably knew his father as well..
