This is music to my ears. I can listen to this all day :)
This is the car bought by Vicious Rumour racing for the Aus GT championship. I saw this car run at the Bathurst 12 hour this year, well, at least for about half an hour until it was taken out by another competitor in practice. These cars sound amazing though in the flesh.. one of the best engine sounds around.
Saw one today In a dealership and didn't know wtf it was. I thought it was a speciale from the front then I saw the wing and I wasn't sure. But it didn't occur to me that it would be gt car cause it had no decals, it kinda looked to plain. But now that I know what it is then goddamn it's a sickass 458 lol
I remember in 2011 that the 458 GT3 was a rather quiet car, so much so that everything else kind of drowned out the noise of it. Now it sounds alot gnarlier, it's soundtrack is rather distinctive now, which is great :)
Yeah it was quiet back then, if this was in a field of modern GT3s then it would be loud asf
