I found the fan to the Proto 2000 FA units to be virtually impossible to spot rotating when the locomotives were operating so I painted mine light grey which helped seeing this pretty cool feature to those particular locomotives. I am guessing that is what you did to the first Proto FA that you demonstrated. Yes please for the vintage HO items in future videos. I enjoy many of the scales you show and appreciate getting to hear the actual mechanism running. Nice layout. Thank you for presenting this comparison.
The Life Like engines have lots of detail, almost as much as the Athearn Genesis. They suffer from split gears though. Pretty genius design for the spinning fan. I oiled one cuz they rattle a bit. I was expecting the Hobbytown to be king for pulling power but the Varney out did it by a mile.
Love the Collection Great Looking Layout👍👍👍👍.

Almost all of my trains are vintage. I dont care much for super detailed plastic. Thanks for watching!
I like the powered fan on the A unit. Neat feature.

Tell us more about the B&O streamlined passenger cars! Great Layout!
They're your typical Tyco B&O streamlined passenger cars which you can still find today.
Yes, those are Mantua/ TYCO. I don't have a matching engine yet so I havent run them yet
The Varney seemed to be the winner. Love your American Flyer videos.
Thanks. I love the performance of the Varney. More American Flyer stuff coming, but I'm in the mood for HO at the moment!
Super cool 😎
You can clean out those filled in step rails; I've done it on rolling stock.
Very nice
