I'm just hoping the hardware is better with this next console. Good graphics are nice but the amount of money I've had to spend on new docks and remotes instead of actual games is kinda bs. By all means Nintendo, give us beautiful PS4-tier graphics. But I'd also appreciate not having my controllers disintegrate every time someone in the room breaks wind.
I would love if Nintendo did something like 1. Link adventure sequel with 2D metroidvania elements. 2. Remake of F-zero GX 3. Metroid 2D remake collection with Dread graphics 4. Wave Race remake 5. Nintendo fighting game Ala Tekken, Street fighter or MK with a good story mode and real fighting moves and K.O. It's ok to dream😅
i want to see much more new ip’s, arms and splatoon showed us there’s still so much creativity within the company to create new worlds full of colorful characters i hope so to at least see 1 when that eventual direct shows up
Nintendo has an Intellectual Property Social Hierarchy, where the IP's that make the most money get tons of games, while the IP's that are less than stellar get side salads at best. Microsoft relies on other studios to make games for them and none of them are exclusives, and Sony is a total show off when it comes to graphics but at least they have exclusives, sort of. So whatever any of us think is going to happen, whether or not we've been studying business or patterns for our entire lives, trust me I know, they're going to surprise us. And on that note, some Game characters can't catch a break.
I really hope the next nintendo console is at a point where consistent performance is a thing. There were times in the Zelda games on the switch where the framerate would drop into the 10s.
i just hope we still can get games for the switch even though it just came out and the switch 2 so the new hype like i just want to play the new games that will come out next year like donkey Kong , mario and kirby
My concept for a future Nintendo console is a sequel to the Switch that not only has backwards compatibility with Switch titles and handheld mode, but can run all in-house Nintendo games through emulation, and all of them are present in the Nintendo Shop at launch for digital download, with some special rereleases down the line. A console that could fix Nintendo's hatred for emulation would sell like sliced plumbing or indoor bread. Furthermore, it could ease the burden of developing many new games, by having such a massive library at the start already. I say in-house games, because there are many whose rights are iffy, especially the Smash series. Being able to play every Pokémon game in the same console would be dope though.
Know for sure it's never going to happen but I would love to have a 4th Fossil Fighters game that has the original art style and is like the original two games. That third one was so bad that it killed the franchise.
There's things switch 2 needs to do that the switch failed to do. Namely portable wind waker and twilight princess. There's cool ideas that they've kinda hinted at via Mario kart tour. I would absolutely play a detective baby Rosalina game (there's a mock-up box art render on deviant art that looks incredible.) Luigi's mansion could have you play as Daisy who needs to save luigi. I could see her punch a ghost
Yes, there was too much Mario on the Switch. Though I do think that all of the "Mario And ..." series won't return: Mario+Rabbids, Mario+Sonic, Mario+Luigi, Mario+Donkey Kong.
Nintendo has the potential for 3 pillars of revenue that the switch 2 can set up. The first is traditional hardware and software sales. The second is the NSO service that could have the 99-style "online only" games, making the paywall for online modes easier to swallow. The third is a dedicated mobile game division. Many nintendo franchises were created in an era where games were meant to last a few minutes at most. Reviving them on a platform designed for quick bursts of content makes perfect sense. Early NES games and handheld-exclusive series could work wonders on a small-scale phone release while the big boy franchises get the big budget console entries.
I can think of ideas for games for the next Nintendo console: 1. A new Sin and Punishment game similar to Star Successor 2. Remakes of Zelda Oracle of Seasons and Ages 3. Super Donkey Kong Country; the original DKC SNES trilogy with the same kind of treatment as the Crash N. Sane trilogy if it is possible. 4. Either of new Chibi-Robo game or a remake of the original game. Nintendo had to let go of the developers of Chibi-Robo with their last game being a 2D platformer with questionable design choices that had mixed reviews. I am not sure if Nintendo still owns the rights to Chibi-Robo in that regard. 5. A new Punch-Out game with original playable characters and original boxers from other parts of the world like Australia. 6. Rebooting Star Tropics
I really enjoyed the Fire Emblem games that came out on Switch! The franchise had 6 games, including the TMS#FE and Shadow Dragon ports, which is double that of the 3DS or GBA, the consoles that formerly had the most Fire Emblem games. Especially with Engage referencing so much legacy content of the franchise, it’s been entering a bit of a golden age recently. I’m really hopeful that more franchises like Donkey Kong or F-Zero get that opportunity. I’m also really hopeful that this new console has GameCube or Wii games ported on it, to finally have an official way to play a ton of classics in Switch form. Also PLEASE put Melee on the new console, I’m begging.
A little hot take for Smash Bros.: I totally agree. Hit the reset button. That way there's still plenty of value in playing the previous games. I know Melee 's still going strong due to it being Melee, but NOBODY plays Smash 4 anymore, or Brawl, outside of Subspace, because Ultimate effectivley replaced them.
How about more Nintendo x Sega crossovers that isn't just Mario & Sonic at the Olympics? Like: Donkey Kong & Monkey Ball. Maybe in the same style of Billy Hatcher, being a collectathon with a more or less gimmick-y gameplay style. Wario & Alex Kidd. The concept of betting from Alex Kidd could go in line with Wario's greedy nature. . . Jet Set Radio & Splatoon. A rail shooter. Make it happen But that's just me dreaming.
While I would still like Luigi's Mansion 4 I do agree with you that Luigi should discover new things before it becomes to mundane and the magic gets lost instead of another mansion (though the last one should of been called Luigi and the Haunted Hotel since it wasn't a mansion) we could see Luigi entering having a brand new adventure like entering a matrix like world or a haunted abandoned village if you still want to give him a spooky adventure but instead of a vacuum you can give him new weapons to fight back ghosts. I really hope we get another Wario Land game as it's been forever since Shake It was released.
I have some fairly basic wishlist items. Not basic as in uncomplicated, but as I’m not that original or controversial. New Punch-Out!! would be sick, I never got around to the others but played the OG on NSO and loved it. Next Mario Kart should be super ambitious, but Smash Kart is not the way to go. Just expand the roster and track options to more thoroughly showcase Mario’s world. It’s a long one with a lot of history. And for the love of Rosalina, please keep up the level of texture quality seen in 8’s base tracks. None of that oversaturated DLC/Tour nonsense. I would love a campaign-based Smash game, but it could really be any crossover game with plot and I’d love it. Some kind of adventure game or hack and slash, maybe? Not a huge RPG guy but I’d probably pick up a Smash RPG. You’re definitely right that there’s no use trying to outdo Ultimate. Long as it’s got a cool story. The main things, though, are NEW DONKEY KONG GAME (preferably 3D and semi open world to explore DK Island like never before with multiple playable Kongs and an original story potentially referencing the ancient Kong/Kremling civilizations on the island) and a new 3D Mario. I’d like to see them take our portly paisano in a new direction, maybe also semi open world or with plumbing-based combat elements (plunger sword, snake whip, double wrench clubs?). I’d also like to see a solo Bowser game of some kind, I’ve been drawing up some ideas that I think are neat.
I think the fact that the Switch 2 is almost certainly going to be backwards-compatible with the original Switch is going to affect what games Nintendo releases, along with the huge graphical jump. Making another Golf/Tennis/Strikers/Party when people can just buy the older ones for cheaper on their already-owned console may not end well, so Nintendo may just have to get more creative!
I completely agree that Nintendo needs to shake things up, it’s meant to be a creative process after all, not a factory rereleasing the same games over and over again. Also, don’t worry Al, we’ll all inevitably get that new Donkey Kong game eventually, it just might a while.
It's worth the conversation. ARMS and splatoon are so well polished games that have the nintendo charm but are modern and we just aren't seeing much more of that. Even though arms ended up being a bit of a dud, if we get a couple splatoon level titles next gen i'd be so happy@@UncleAlPlus
I honestly think smash ultimate should be able to continue their roster, maybe add a new game mode and a new story were legitimately EVERY universe from the series they have come in contact. I know that's a cliche idea but I think you could shake it up by ADDING the mechanics OF that title to the game! Imagine solid snake sneaking around Mario and using tranquilizers to knock out enemies, or Pikmin in kingdom hearts! The Pikmin fighting shadows thanks to the universes colliding would be pretty cool! Not to mention Letting the Pikmin cast spells related to their typing! There's a whole lot of stuff that could be done for smash ultimate and having an actual story and new experience instead of just the usual beat up that guy on a 2D stage might be fun for some people. I know I'd enjoy it.
IF Nintendo decided to add to Ultimate, adding substantial content in this form would get me on board. Yeah, more fighters passes would be alright, but I'm definitely craving some extra modes and content outside of fighters, like you mention.
@@UncleAlPlus It would honestly be a very interesting thing to have added. Using mechanics not originally in a game would lead to a whole lot of opportunities for the community to enjoy the many characters already added in the game! Not to mention each playthrough would be very unique
NGL If Nintendo actually goes tthrough wirh having indie dev teams work in spinoffs/new games to expand their library of games would actually be really damn cool to see. On the topic on what I want Personally want Im just hoping Game Freak and Nintendo put more focus onto pokemon Spinoffs. I still love the Mainline games despite how messy they are (except BDSP. Shittiest remake ever) hell Scarlet was the first pokemon game I completed the Pokedex for, but if im being honest for a second we need more focus on Spinoffs. Legends Arceus was a Masta Piece and If i had to choose Spinoffs to come back or get a remaster on the Switch it would be Pokemon Rumble Blast, and Conquest. They put a Unique spin on what pokemon is and I loved it. I grew up with these games and I would love to see them return. Hell i would Kill for a Sequel to Conquest and Rumble Blast. (Yes I am aware Rumble World is a Thing but i refuse to play that shitty game) Along with that, with the fact that Game Freak has been Teasing gen 5 a lot lately I'm kinda Hoping we get Gen 5 Remakes that HOPEFULLY aren't as Shitty as BDSP. Im not saying they have to be HGSS levels of great, I'd Settle for them being on the Same Level as the Lets Go games if im being honest. Along with that, with the Succes of Legends Arceus I'm kinda hoping we get another Legends game set in the Early Unova Region. Thats honestly my main hope rn but if I had to pick another game I want a remake of it would be Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. I personally would love to see it in 3D. Holy shit this Comment is getting big. Im just gonna shut uo now and go back to what I was doing. Heres to (HOPEFULLY) Many Great Games.
Glad you addressed your "unfinished games" skeleton in your closet. Kirby Star Allies and ARMS and the like are lackluster, but they are still fun at their core and are masterpieces compared to recent games that are literally unplayable at launch for reasons mostly within a developer's control.
Yeah, the core of the games are definitely solid compared to a lot of other games in the AAA space right now. I'm still not particularly fond of those free update games, content wise a good number of them ended up being pretty bare. But, could be a lot worse.
I really don't understand why nintendo stopped letting capcom work on 2D zelda entries. Like if there's any company I'd trust not to mess up a nintendo IP it'd be capcom.
man the only game i want is conkers bad fur day, i will take fucking anything, i would pay 60 for a plain port at this point, its almost bin 20 years sins the remake. and sins microsoft made young conker, i think ots better if they get back on nintenod, witch that said. i could that nintendo even menchaning that conker exists is extremely rare. but idk i coudnt realy ask for much kore. mabye smash 3D but i think that will actually never happen
Honestly not as pumped as I used to be about new consoles. There’s barely any hardware leap anymore like there was in the 90s and 00s. Just means I gotta spend hundreds of $ on a box that pretty much does the same thing. I’m happy sticking with the old machine and spending that money on games instead. Why I’m thinking just going with a steam deck this Gen and obv Nintendo’s machine always for their exclusives.
Is the reason you were down on the Switch in the first place due to not having an original Donkey Kong? Because I still can't see what would make you not love the system compared to, say, the Wii or N64?
Nah, so much of the Switch era just felt very... Safe to me. A lot of games felt more like Nintendo fulfilling some arbitrary checklist to me rather than made out of any sincere creative passion. It was very... Been there, done that. Which is fine for people who are either new to the Nintendo ecosystem, or haven't been in it for a long time. But, I've been gaming on Nintendo systems for a long time haha. So I've seen a lot of this before.
I bought the switch, Xbox series and PS5 if there was anything that I learned from this generation. it's that the game industry crashed hard. There are people that likes these games but after nearly 30 years of gaming I'm not the target audience anymore.
Whatever happens, the franchise I'm worried about the most is Pokémon because it's my favorite franchise outside of smash bros, and it's been in such a rough state for quite a bit (most people say gen 5 was the last good generation, but i'm still adamant that it was actually gen six). I really liked scarlet and Violet as games, but they are objectively atrocious and probably the worst released Nintendo games ever made, which considering the fact that Nintendo has such a high level of quality to where even something as terrible as sticker star can at least have some level of quality control and polish is VERY unexecusable. The real reason I'm so worried is that it would be one thing if they didn't care, because then if we made them lose money, then they'd either be like "Oh shit, maybe we should actually try to make our games good now", or have them lose the IP so Pokémon can be made by a company that actually cares, so we would get good games, but Scarlet and Violet at the very least did try to be a good good game, but because of where Pokémon is right now, it seems having a good Pokémon game is basically impossible, so unless I see another Pokémon game in like five years , I want nothing to do with this franchise anymore.
as a sploon fan-- its okay you dont care because honestly, we've got food right now. its not the feast they advertised, for certain, but we'll see how that changes in 8 days. if you can't contact me in 10, assume i've been consumed by the tower. Either way. *Give me a Pokepark Game, Nintendo.* We have not had a new pokepark in 12 years. I'm dying, nintendo. I want an official nintendogs so im not playing Little Friends. Little friends is about as much nintendogs as those horse girl games for PC in 2005 were nintendogs. it sucks. a new Wario World is something we need. I have a personal desire for a real live Fossil Fighters comeback. the superior turn-based combat monster game, for certain. A new Dillon's Rolling Western would be nice. Style Savvy is in desperate need of a comback since fashion dreamer is so bad. Kirby can keep coming out of the woodwork and giving us the most out of pocket stuff ever, theyre doing fine. Youre correct on mario needing more spinoffs where we dont look at a red italian plumber. I want something with bowser as our MC, for certain. speaking of cooking games tho, I think we DO need a cooking mama. And i know the rythym heaven fans are getting just about as humgry as the tomodatchi life fans.... theyre going to be eating our limbs off soon if we dont grant them something.
well i don't think the switch's issue isn't graphics but rather horse power. yes, the switch has some amazing games that were designed for it, but it's still not as appealing to 3d parties to some degree

I would love if Nintendo did something like
1. Link adventure sequel with 2D metroidvania elements.
2. Remake of F-zero GX
3. Metroid 2D remake collection with Dread graphics
4. Wave Race remake
5. Nintendo fighting game Ala Tekken, Street fighter or MK with a good story mode and real fighting moves and K.O.
It's ok to dream😅
i want to see much more new ip’s, arms and splatoon showed us there’s still so much creativity within the company to create new worlds full of colorful characters
i hope so to at least see 1 when that eventual direct shows up
Nintendo has an Intellectual Property Social Hierarchy, where the IP's that make the most money get tons of games, while the IP's that are less than stellar get side salads at best.
Splatoon Fans, he does not care.
I would feel a bit defeated if Nintendo just moves onto new hardware without getting an exclusive DK game for Switch.
Don't forget Cadence of Hyrule! That one was really cool
I would absolutely play a detective baby Rosalina game (there's a mock-up box art render on deviant art that looks incredible.)
Luigi's mansion could have you play as Daisy who needs to save luigi. I could see her punch a ghost
Yes, there was too much Mario on the Switch. Though I do think that all of the "Mario And ..." series won't return: Mario+Rabbids, Mario+Sonic, Mario+Luigi, Mario+Donkey Kong.
I'd love a new kid icarus game
Still looking forward for the TTYD remake!!! Other than that, I want a new MONKE game!
I’d like to see a Nintendo Switch Sports 2 that’s actually a proper sequel the Wii Sports saga deserves
We eatin good when Uncle Al uploads

Luigi's cyberpunk adventure should be WALUIGI's
Nintendo has the potential for 3 pillars of revenue that the switch 2 can set up. The first is traditional hardware and software sales. The second is the NSO service that could have the 99-style "online only" games, making the paywall for online modes easier to swallow. The third is a dedicated mobile game division. Many nintendo franchises were created in an era where games were meant to last a few minutes at most. Reviving them on a platform designed for quick bursts of content makes perfect sense. Early NES games and handheld-exclusive series could work wonders on a small-scale phone release while the big boy franchises get the big budget console entries.
I can think of ideas for games for the next Nintendo console:
1. A new Sin and Punishment game similar to Star Successor
2. Remakes of Zelda Oracle of Seasons and Ages
I know Melee 's still going strong due to it being Melee, but NOBODY plays Smash 4 anymore, or Brawl, outside of Subspace, because Ultimate effectivley replaced them.
brawl is pretty much carried by its mods, its pretty much the mkwii of smash
I’ve been playing a lot of dkc at the moment and loving every second of it
Its 4 in the morning... I'll see you around maybe like 5pm 😭
I wonder what would happen if Nintendo let Capcom make another Zelda game
I can't wait for the next 3d Mario
What was the first Zelda game made by capcom?
@@zojirushi1
Capcom made Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and The Minish Cap.
I would love a new warioland game on the "switch 2"
I would love to see wario land to return.
i want mario sunshine 2
How about more Nintendo x Sega crossovers that isn't just Mario & Sonic at the Olympics? Like:
Donkey Kong & Monkey Ball.
Make it happen
But that's just me dreaming.
0:01 *OOOOOH LEMME GETTA WHIFF*
I think the crowd will go wild if a Godzilla fighter was announced for the switch 2. Fans won’t shut up about wanting one so that’s what I want most
Hear me out... 3D Smash Bros. Think Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Sonic Adventure, Ocarina of Time. But it's Smash
Kid Icarus and donkey Kong fans = starving
I just want a new Starfy game!
I've been waiting for a new super sluggers entry, but I feel worried about it ever since the let down of strikers battle league
I completely agree that Nintendo needs to shake things up, it’s meant to be a creative process after all, not a factory rereleasing the same games over and over again.
Also, don’t worry Al, we’ll all inevitably get that new Donkey Kong game eventually, it just might a while.
First Person Luigi’s Mansion 🤔🤔
Honestly just the Mario and Luigi Series for me…
I want more new IP. I don't need to see warioware ever again, can't just keep making sequels to stuff, it's ok to let series die tbh
This is something I really wish I had brought up, because I'd like to see more NEW IP as well. Maybe I'll do a follow up video at some point.
(Yes I am aware Rumble World is a Thing but i refuse to play that shitty game)
Along with that, with the fact that Game Freak has been Teasing gen 5 a lot lately I'm kinda Hoping we get Gen 5 Remakes that HOPEFULLY aren't as Shitty as BDSP.
Would you do a video on The huge Noise update for Pizza Tower? Apparently it’s supposed to be like a new game plus
I'm considering it! Any excuse to go back to Pizza Tower is good enough for me
I want fossil fighters. It's time for something
Do you think Microsoft would sell Rareware back to Nintendo if they get desperate
Wario world please nintendo
As one of the copy flower clones that got lost in time
Can we get a new Mario & Luigi game plz. Hell a remake of one of the first 4 would be cool too
@1:54 Puyo Puyo jumpscare
I'd be much more worried about the next console's supply and shipping...
Wake me when there's a Bowser Metroidvania...
OOOOH I LOVE THAT IDEA!!
A Bowser-centric game would be cool
A Bowser spin off will be interesting
Pokémon’s problem is more TPCI than Game Freak. They just need to give them more time.
I just hope the new console is backwards-compatible with my Switch games.
All Nintendo needs to do to own me, is remaster fossil fighters. The first two games, but the third one, burn it with acid
Still waiting for an arms sequel, maybe legs?
Ice Climbers could do good on mobile, ngl.
I NEED A NEW WARIO WORLD OR ATLEAST A WARIO LAND
Here me out
Wario World 2
Is the reason you were down on the Switch in the first place due to not having an original Donkey Kong? Because I still can't see what would make you not love the system compared to, say, the Wii or N64?
Nah, so much of the Switch era just felt very... Safe to me. A lot of games felt more like Nintendo fulfilling some arbitrary checklist to me rather than made out of any sincere creative passion. It was very... Been there, done that. Which is fine for people who are either new to the Nintendo ecosystem, or haven't been in it for a long time. But, I've been gaming on Nintendo systems for a long time haha. So I've seen a lot of this before.
@@UncleAlPlusstrongly agree
it's always a good day whenever uncle al uploads 🤍
So when exactly is the Nintendo switch 2 coming out?
Retro PLEASE GIVE US DONKEY KONG RETURNS 3 I'M BEGGING YOU
I bought the switch, Xbox series and PS5 if there was anything that I learned from this generation.
it's that the game industry crashed hard.
We need a Nintendo kart.
as a sploon fan-- its okay you dont care because honestly, we've got food right now. its not the feast they advertised, for certain, but we'll see how that changes in 8 days. if you can't contact me in 10, assume i've been consumed by the tower. And i know the rythym heaven fans are getting just about as humgry as the tomodatchi life fans.... theyre going to be eating our limbs off soon if we dont grant them something.
well i don't think the switch's issue isn't graphics but rather horse power.
yes, the switch has some amazing games that were designed for it, but it's still not as appealing to 3d parties to some degree
missed ya man
How is pizza tower not on the switch? Is there a reason?
