    Thanks a lot for your videos! I'm getting my first two-stroke and interested in how the carb works, how it breaks, and what it will look like when I disassemble it, and your videos are precious to me. You have a talent for explaining things.

    I wish you were more thorough as the parts are very small and you went really quick. HOWEVER beggars cant be choosers and this is the best guide I found. Thank ya!

    Super helpful video. I have a 2001 YZ that's been sitting for years. The carb was a mess.

    Thank you. I have the same carburetor and it’s leaking out of the bottom drain valve nipple. Do you know what the cause of this is

    dude! really appreciate a well done and straight to the point video. Would you be able to explain to me what the jet block gasket does specifically? I have some weird leaking on my carb after a rebuild but didnt replace that gasket (didnt know there was one until i watched this video) and am trying to figure out what the heck i need to do next. will double check my float level in hopes that it puts me in the ballpark of not leaking. thanks in advance for any help and also for the great vid.

      @@jollyshrimpo thought about buying a 36 chinese knockoff honestly. With a 38 I think that it'll take too much air in and it would bog. Sorry my guy but I don't have a good answer.

      @@MattafixTm yea im with you got a 96 yz125 and this is the only thing holding me up went through the whole bike paint and all got a chinese one then a tmx36 2 and they both didn’t work my old carb is jb welded to hold it together so idk im literally lost gonna have to buy used ig

    • @MattafixTm
      @MattafixTm 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jollyshrimpo its frustrating because it's easy to find parts or new carbs for 34 or 38 but almost inpossible for 36. I will sell my 2000 yz either way because I don't really have time to enjoy it as I should. Hope you'll find a solution to your problem soon enough though.
