It was easier to remove the start button assembly. The chrome ring can easily be popped off using a plastic pry tool from the back as to not damage it. Then the button can be removed easier.
@@daneyoung7770 Just realized, there was one clip on the button panel I missed and maybe like 2 I missed on the infotainment that held it down. Ended up able to get it out but the wiring tool broke on me so I probably won't be able to use the Noble one I got. I know he said don't be afraid since you're not gonna break anything, but being first time I've pried any of the panels around in the first car I've bought, it was a little nerve wracking lol
Like the Noble push button cover! Definitely going to get that for my Rex. Btw does anyone know how to change the interior accent lighting on steering wheel/door panels (trying to change from red to white)?
*RHD VB DRIVERS SEE BELOW FOR FITMENT* To install on any JDM/AUDM models, remove the Rh Fuse Box Cover and pull the black tab. Push down on both brown tabs on (top and button) of button body and push and repeat opposite to fit.
Sorry to hear of this issue. The wire tool can be tricky and is included to help remove the button but some buttons can be a little more challenging to remove than others. You can try removing your factory button by wrapping a small flathead screwdriver with a microfiber and prying it out. I hope this helps!

Noble one is awesome! Didn't know how to gracefully "fishout" stock cover so my stock cover is broken Noble one looks nice!
How did you get your button out?? My wire tool was flimsy and snapped off behind my oem button

When installing the noble light can’t you just clip that off without uninstalling the whole bezel? Like just fish that cap off then put new on on?
Correct you could do it while installed for the Noble cap. We had just removed it to show the swap for the sti one and did it out of the car.

I'm having trouble getting the infotainment panel to prop out as easily as whats in the video
They can be cumbersome for sure, you have to get it just right. That plastic trim tool really helps too!

The wire tool is useless! Button will not come out at all and the wire tool snapped off behind the button and is stuck back there WTF.

same here. ended up having to "redesign" the wire after if broke. It was very hard.
