As much as I would like to get those last games(it's down to 22 now) that final game I need to finish this went through the roof so most likely I'll end up 2 or 3 away from the set.

It's a nice collection, but if the dude in Canada that has a full basement is still collecting, I would assume he is the final Boss, the dude literally had a room for each major console family, and all of the odds and ends shoved into little smaller rooms, and closets.
@@retroretro_ Dude, I needed this video to show my parents when I was in college.. They thought my small collection of a years worth of garage sailing looked like a videogame store... lol

It definitely did not cost a ton to complete. Had a local resale shop that sold Xbox games 10 for $20 and I abused that deal while the store was still open. Now I'm going after the NA 360 set, less than 200 to go.
Awesome, glad you liked the collection. It's expanding into 3 rooms now, maybe I can get Rick to do an updated tour next next year if he comes back to MGC.

@@retroretro_ That is what Movie Gallery needed in the 90's So many of the games in my original Dreamcast collection before I started doing upgrades had faded covers from facing the window in the Kansas sun... I remember watching games fade as I waited for them to go into the previously viewed section... DOA 2 faded from red to pink in just a week or two.
@@JoelSinn-sd5fnoh, that's terrible. I used to work at Blockbuster and we always had the windows blocked off with some kind of shade pulled down. Never put anything near the glass either. Awesome room tour of all the video games and nowadays at least in Canada it's rare to find actually video games at a Goodwill you don't find them very often
6:14 Man, I got turned on to JNCO in 1993! By a graffiti writer kid in 8th grade. Most people associate JNCO with the mid to late 90’s, but this kid was rocking them in 93. You could only find them in hipster boutiques or maybe skate shops if you were lucky. They were made for taggers, specifically. The pockets were all made to fit a can of spray paint in. They only came in whole colors, black or navy blue, with all white stitching and the white embroidered JNCO logo in graffiti hand style lettering on the right hand pocket. The t-shirts were the same, but they had a front pocket with the white embroidered logo. Honestly though, I was over them by 1994. Once Kurt Cobain was gone I started high school as a Nirvana kid, and wasn’t into any Hip Hop style clothing anymore. But in Chicago in 1993, if you had some cutoff JNCO’s, a Starter jacket, and low top Puma’s with fat laces, you were the sh!t.
Quite the collection(s) and having the repurposed systems showcases the “not dead yet just revived different” aspect of generation 2 gaming systems that functioned as cheap computers once the next systems released. Hooray for Midwestern medicine and gaming!
That guy completing the OG Xbox set from when it launched reminds me of Mort completing his N64 set from when that launched; all he has left to get for the set is a Clay Fighter’s Sculptor’s Cut game manual that is worth like $4000-5000.
Dude, I love Mort's Garage and obviously Mort too. Met him at SEGE last year, amazing human being. Although it wasn't in the video I actually have an n64 set too, tho not cib like Mort, just the carts.
