    Haywards Heath Ardingly Horsted Keynes line closed for a very long time since 1963. Nature has taken over, an almighty jungle has grown on the route.

    If they relay this track they can bring mainline locos straight onto the Bluebell and vice versa😃

      This must not be allowed to reopen. The tunnel should be dynamited, embankments levelled, cuttings filled etc. The land can be repurposed for useful things like housing etc.

      SteamLocoScrapper, you are being very short-sighted. Linking this line can increase tourism in this area and possibly be nationalised to solve the congestion problem on the Brighton Main Line. We don't want a repeat of the Beeching Axe.
