As a Chelsea fan I often forget he played there, for me he is tied to Liverpool and I'm not mad about it, he was and still is a great player, probably the best African player right now
So true, Liverpool was the perfect storm, a manager and style of play that suited him to a tee. No one called him exploding like he did at Liverpool and many, myself included thought it was a one season, then 2 season wonder. But definitely has proven to be a consistently top player at Liverpool

Egypt had a way harder route to the final than Senegal in Afcon 2021 and they were tired. Egypt took out Ivory Coast in the Round of 16, they got past a Moroccan team who went on to the semifinal of the Qatar world cup in the next year and they defeated a solid Cameroon with Aboubakar scoring goals for fun, while Senegal played the likes of Cape Verde, Equitorial Guinea and Burkina Faso still proper teams but less formidable opponents than those Egypt faced.
Either way Egypt had a lot less great players in comparison to Senegal I don’t know why people compare players based on afcon when that’s a team trophy

Ramos really ruined his most successful season, he was the biggest top scorer in a single season in PL, he was playing so good in UCL final in the 30 minutes before the injury and Liverpool would have won if he was able to complete the game or if there was VAR in that match, and he could have led the Egyptian team to their most successful WC performance, making him the top choice for player of the year.
Banger video mate, pure chills when he buried that pen. As a LFC fan i should want him bakc to the team, but i actually think that if he win the afcon this year he will come back with such confidence we will cruise the league.
Beautiful story! Sometimes people mock lower teams for celebrating a goal as if they have won the whole competition because they are too ignorant to understand what that goal means... And they had more joy from that goal than the competition winner had, and that made them champions!
one thing people seems to ignore about salah international career that it's not done yet , the AFCON is held every 2 years so he might end up winning 1 AFCON or even more especially the Egyptian team in AFCON is no joke
If Egypt play like they did in Afcon 2021 or even better than they'll win. I predict Egypt at the very least reaching the final unless eliminated by a really powerful team such as Morocco(who mind you were defeated by Egypt in 2021) or Senegal(who won thx to the fans using lasers)

Salah the legend of all that is beautiful, will remain my role model in life and not just as a football player. Also in his extreme intelligence ،morals, humility, beautiful smile, and even his intense love for his country. Thanks for the video! This is amazing There's also 2 other Liverpool players that get way too much disrespect these days: Van Dijk and Alisson. Rival fans just DON'T rate our players - they never have. We have more football legends than the rest of the Big Six combined yet the rival fans can't name more than Gerrard, Barnes and Dalglish.
Used to rely on him in fifa 15. He was such an underrated player at the time. He had insanse pace and decent shooting for a cheap card. Good thing his potential was seen by liverpool.
Salah is winning AFCON this year mark my words on that..this is his and Egypt's year I strongly feel it .. However with all due respect to those who compare Mane to Salah based on Senegal success over Egypt well that's actually horse shish because of the difference in quality of the current Egyptian and Senegalese generation with Egypt far below thier overall incredible strandards that lead them to winning 3 back to back Afcons in recent past and that's no Salah's fault...on club level Salah tops any other African player throughout history backed with indisputable numbers and merits.. Salah success on the international stage far exceed any other African attacker including Drogba and Eto and any non factual discussion on the matter is blasphemous really
You know what's strange, how a team like Egypt rarely made it to the world cup throughout its history but you look at them in Afcon, they are 7-time champion, the record by the way, they are also one of the biggest teams in Africa with the likes of Cameron, Ghana, Morrocco, Algeria, Senegal and Nigeria and ivory coast and Tunisia. but somehow, they managed to miss almost every world cup in the last 30 years, don't know what happens to them where they can't transfer their Afcon dominance to the world cup qualifications.
There are many crazy stories, one even had the WWE then called WWF involved. And in 2010 for example Egypt would have qualified if not for a buss attacked making the staff walk to the game with the Sudanese army and if the qualifiers happened just a year later Egypt would have won by some away goal rule. It's a shame that Egypt didn't play in 06 or 010
As someone who lost touch with football for about 10 or 15 years, i didnt know most of his history prior to liverpool.. appreciate ya brother this was awesome ! As always! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👊🏋♂️

@@a.demifemiflapo5795 Oh, all the African and Muslim players are very far from competing with Salah, not only in football, but he and his family showed us Islam in a different way, contrary to the image the world is trying to show. I hope he gets the Ballon d’Or
@@a.demifemiflapo5795 Does Riyad Mahrez whom you compared to Salah do what you say?! Stop please I don’t understand what you mean
I never realized how good he is/was I always thought he was overrated because of the media but I understand now. Definitely one of the best ever.
@@ziadzedoI follow the Egyptian team a little for the sake of Salah and I see that it is the strongest of all the African teams and they have wonderful players. I really like the way they play. They are the most skilled in Africa if my description does not exaggerate but I watch some matches for Salah and I can say that this is true but I do not know why they are not lucky!! I hope for them to win For Salah's sake

As an Egyptian I just want to say you have done some great work and research for this 💪🏼 Great video mate
I have used to watch Mohammad Salah boss who was excellent with Basel and he gave happiness to the Egyptian people despite his country's turmoil and he played for a relegation threatened team in Egypt Al Mokawloon Al Arab, good friends!!!I never forget him with the Swiss club and Italian clubs Fiorentina and AS Roma as well as Liverpool, good friends!!!LONG LIVE,MOHAMMAD SALAH BOSS!!!🏋♂️
Could you please do a video about an Egyptian player called Abu treka he is considered Egypt's best ever player some consider him better than Salah you should have a look at his career
@@MohamedEssam-su6vx You mean Aboutrika?
Anyway, that's just disrespect to Salah. Aboutrika isn't fit to lace Salah's boots. Salah is clear by MILES of any other Egyptian player ever.
He already should have won a Balon Dor. The season (I can’t remember which one exactly) where he was breaking all sorts of records he should have had the award.
it was his debut season for Liverpool, He would have won it if Ramos didn't dislocate his shoulder.
@@Daydreamer_96
Thanks for clarifying. Yeah I think he deserved it that season, despite not winning the CL.
I hope Egypt Salah’s country wins the championship for Salah’s sake even though his absence is bad for Liverpool but I wish him happiness
As always these guys count team tournaments as a reason to put down a player, it's a team sport. Individually he's the greatest African footballer ever. There's no doubt, he's an incredible footballer. Great video once again.
I did. You can see his potential at Basel. And if u missed that, at fiorentina he was incredible!🔥🔥
Salah the legend of all that is beautiful, will remain my role model in life and not just as a football player. Also in his extreme intelligence ،morals, humility, beautiful smile, and even his intense love for his country. I watched a meeting in which he spoke about his homeland with all love, as if he were a lover talking about his beloved. I hope he gets what he deserves.
Great video bro! It’s nice to see a Portuguese football content creator, I have a lot of friends from Portugal, nice people!
By any chance can you do a video on México’s Rafa Márquez ?
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
as an egyptian you documented every single detail precisely
As an egyptian i confirm that you did a great job on this video, always great man
As an Egyptian you nailed it he is our pride 👑🫡
Beautifully done as always bro.
for me as an egyptian this is the best english video that talked about our legend mohamed salah
Bro you must start with "so listen to this." That's our goated statement for this channel bro
I tune in everyweek for the past 3 years.. best video yet
Thanks for the video! This is amazing
There's also 2 other Liverpool players that get way too much disrespect these days: Van Dijk and Alisson.
Rival fans just DON'T rate our players - they never have. We have more football legends than the rest of the Big Six combined yet the rival fans can't name more than Gerrard, Barnes and Dalglish.
Thank You for this Video on the Egyptian King. It has been a JOY to watch him Play and watch his Story and Ascendency.... #YNWA
As a Egyptian thank you mate for this video ❤❤🇪🇬💙
Salah is a monster but when it comes to African footballers I loved watching jay jay okocha play something about him was so electrifying
As always! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👊🏋♂️
This man never disappoints with his videos...
He is crazy talented and a pretty hard worker. The guy used to travel each day to go to practice each day
Egypt has had a lackluster roster for like ever. Even with Salah, they are often the underdog. No surprise they've never won the Africa cup with him.
Look up who has the most 🤔
Egypt were always good in AFCON. Sadly Salah came with some of the worst generation of players for Egypt. If he was in their golden generation, they would make a dent in the world cup 100%
As an Egyptian, i appreciate the details of the video, liked it
M Salah best of the best
He deserves ballon dore
Great video, Love from South Africa 🇿🇦✊🏾
this is really amazing video and not just because it's about Salah and also it talked about some correct history of Egypt, really great work
Your video quality is beast level u deserve more
After hearing this, I'm thinking y did I hate on Salah
He'd already achieved more than me and he deserved support but not hate
my close friend was about to attend Alhly match with his friends from Ultras but thanks god he couldn't and the massacre casued two of his friends killed it was tragedy and Abutrekka our favorite became enemy of the government because he refused to stay silent about what happened till he had to leave the country before ending his legendry career in a proper way and he is till now banned to enter Egypt, it was the saddest year in Egyptian football history
Great video bro❤❤❤❤

Hey! Thanks so much man, I'm curious to know, what did you like about the video?
I did not like it, I loved it . I like to ask you if i can subtitle it in arabic and share it
it was well done. and the fact that you highlighted his tough luck with egyptian revolution and what happened after was so amazing. lots of people do not remember that . and that fact that you mentioned the number 74 that honor the alatras Al Ahly that was massacred in the stadium . thank you man .
if you wanna translate the script to arabic and send it to me, I'll gladly add the subtitles, if you're talking about uploading a translation yourself, then I'm not okay with it@@mohamedzhassanin4353
no worries, it's a pleasure to learn about these stories and share them with my community@@mohamedzhassanin4353
DDOF i love each and every of your videos and this one ain't an exception but i do think that there were some mistakes like the 6-1 the 1982 and when salah scored 10 goals and gave 6 assists to make sure "Fiorentina" stayed at the top, regardless of that i really enjoy your videos
In closed captions it’s fixed
was sick with the flu all week, couldn't be bothered to go back and re-record the "fiorentina" part and the 6-1 I didn't even notice
Mo Salah is easily the greatest African player of all time. Its not even close. At all. The eye test matches up with his superior stats.
So Etoo was from where
@@876jamaicanyouth Etoo was nice but not on Salah level. Salah is more of an all around player. If Etoo is ronaldo Salah is messi and we all know Messi the goat.

he's my favourite player, I don't know what's the reason i like him so much but he has something that attracts me so much that he became my favourite player
ٍSALAH THE BEST IN THE WORLD ❤❤❤
I got introduced to Salah when he was in basel. At a random Thursday I turned on the tv to see my favourite team (Tottenham) playing europa league. I then witnessed Dempsey scare a goal and I was happy when I went to the kitchen to grab something to drink. I came back with Salah celebrating an equaliser. I remember that game because I've managed to not see any spurs losses till that game and they were kicked out of Europa league thanks to his contributions
thanks a lot such a fantastic video about a legend

Salah, Drogba and Weah. Probably the GOATs in Africa.
