You should do a complete video as Hair Band Sean lol. Hey great video and information. Does the ISO noise reduction apply to video only or does it work with stills as well?
Have you tried the vision color profile for canon? It's made specifically to combat the issues canons 8bit footsge presents especially how it falls apart quickly when shooting in cinestyle. It did much better than cinestyle on a music video I shot with it. Gonna try to test more situations to see how it holds up.
Thank you, Sean. I'm pretty new to video, so some of what you said was a little over my head (my problem, not yours). Do you have an ISO limit for shooting videos? For photography, I tend not to go over ISO 3200 with the 90D, if I can help it.
I try very hard not to go over 3200 myself in both video and photo. The 90D is a great camera, and if you're careful in low light, you can get some usable footage. But once you get over 3200, it does start to get a little dicey. :) Thanks for the comment. 🙂
I don't think I've tried that. So are you saying that at 24fps you're running 1/24s shutter? If so, does it cause motion blur? I can certainly see how it would give you more light and lower ISO. Thanks for the tip. 👍🙂
@@SeanMiller318 i use 1/30 shutter speed and record in 30fps mode. 1/24 shutter speed the footage start to look less smooth. You can try to experiment and see whether you like the end results.
Am not using cine style again, I find out like it is not original better neutral.what picture profile do you prefer mostly for clear music video? In 90d. Better 1080 or 4k in 90d

I think it works in both, but in photo you have exposure bracketing to help with noise. Thanks, Dan. 🙂🙂

I have not. I will have to look into that. Thanks for the tip. :)

I always use 360 degree shutter angle to get that extra stop of exposure, combine with sigma 18-35mm constant f1.8, and boom...
