The EF FUTURA had oversteer problems. It doesn't handle well. Explained here "Perhaps the biggest advancement with the EL was the improvements to the handling woes of the EF, with improvements established to the suspension and steering.[6] Engineers at Tickford had discovered that by lowering the pivot point of the Watt's linkages in the rear suspension by 20 millimetres (0.8 in), that the roll oversteer effect which plagued the EF could finally be eliminated. Previously on EF models, during hard cornering the rear end of the car often felt as if it could not keep up with the front, due to the difference in roll rate between the front and rear suspension. So what’s happening with the au? Are you keeping it, ditching it? Putting a VCT in it? What are your thoughts atm as to what you want to do with it?
You could have put a FG oil pan on it the FGs sump is bigger in the rear where as B series Barras have the sump larger in the front

Barras face downwards on the falcon so when u hit something you dont eat the barra it shoots the engine under the car :)

Are the e-series engine mounts going to be strong enough ? they are a different shape than the B mounts, they look to be stronger than the E mounts, i worry whether the E mounts would be able to long term handle vibration & harmonics from the extra power from the DOHC, & if your are racing/skidding the car, the extra stress on the engine mounts may have an impact....
I guess we will see after a few full sends
