Fast machine - how many rounds do you cut to prepare for a days work? Looks like you would need a large stock pile to keep this busy. Also, do you prefer to kiln dry the rounds first and then split or split and then kiln dry the kindling?
Never done a full day really. Just as and when we have a few hours. I tend to dry the rounds first as wood can shrink in the net and look less full. But we tend to process and leave them for a good few months in the stick also
After seeing your tv on the wall with the camera feed of your log deck, maybe have a small light and camera inside the splitting compartment. Ever fancy a control room for all these automated machines??! 📺
Great Operation; in the states you must have Government certified kiln/heat treated wood even to have a campfire in a national or state park; the standard is 71.1C/160F held for at least 75 minutes. They do this by drilling holes in different pieces throughout the kiln and inserting sensors that report that core temperature & how long it's held. Have the little Solo Stoves caught on over there? Your kindling would be great for those.
What is the efficiency of this machine? How much bags can you make in hour? I like your last video to see how much effort you put in your bussines. Just keep going!
It depends on the timber you are putting through it and how many people are working on the machine but it can produce a bag every 15-30 seconds you just need to keep up with it
Hey I'm loosing sleep, any major reasons for changing your kiln, any flaws found that your changing on new one? I only ask cause I am planning on copying your original build . Thank you!!!
It's a nice looking machine but it seems to bulldoze coming out and could do with more waste extraction in my opinion, how much are they asking for them these days?
Thanks for the demo! Really neat to watch Archie! Andrew from NB, Canada :)
Watching from Vancouver Island, born in Saint John .
we just got one ! excited to put it to work ! thanks for the run through (Tasmania Australia)
Hope you enjoy it!

Very interesting, No they haven’t but mini pizza ovens have
Yeah totally rangers come around every night with moisture meters and hand out tickets to everybody in the camp if one piece of wood is over humidity.
It's weirdly relaxing to watch wood being processed.
Have you started doing
big logs in the Kindlet Pro?
No we have a splitta 400 for logs 👍🏼

@@oakfarmfirewood thanks. And for seasoned firewood you split seasoned logs and put them in bags or the logs are still very green?
