This will be a game changer for the US market! Well done bob 💪🏼
Thanks Archie!
That was an amazing demo Bob, great information. Congrats to WR to stay ahead of the game and looking forward to seeing it at the PB show!
Love to see a small Wisconsin built business going global.
Thank you!
Thank you for the support!
Very impressive machines. This is definitely the way to make mini firewood and kindling.
Thanks Russ!
I agree sir!
This has me wondering the possibility of building something similar to this that would be designed for regular 16” firewood production. This setup is going to be opening many doors in the firewood production business
I’m not sure if it’s brain damage or weirdness, or perhaps it’s normal, to feel satisfaction when watching the kindling machines in action!
Great partnership Bob!
Absolutely love WolfeRidge! These new-to-WolfeRidge additions look awesome, and we hope they do well for y'all. Keep getting it fellas and have fun at the Paul Bunyan Show!
Thank you Kemp and Nicole!
Thank you for being part of the family!
Great machine and great idea. I love how simple the bagging process looks!
Thank you its fun to use!
Those Kindlet machine from Fuelwood are going to be a great addition to your lineup! Way to stay ahead of the game with this collaboration!! Good stuff WR! Great video Bob👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Todd!
Thanks Todd! Hey - are you going to Bunyan? Send me a text.
Great machine - excited to see you at the Bunyan show
Thank you, we'll see you there!
Awesome presentation video 😍 It looks like an amazing addition to your line up 👍 Looking forward to seeing more of this machine.
Thank you Lyle!
So cool ! Awesome machine, what a time saver. Love your open mind way of thinking.
Thanks Kevin!
Thanks Kevin!
Super cool. Who would have thought of producing wood that small. Would be in such high demand. Simply amazing.
In answer to your question: Dan at Back 40 Firewood (You Tube Channel).
That's awesome. I often wondered if someone didn't build one . I bet back 40 would love to get his hands on one. Great video.
Thank you! Stay tuned 😉
This is going to be a game changer! Will save a lot of time on production.
Thanks Tom! Pretty fun to run these things too!
Bob, looks like Wolfe Ridge is on it's way to be the largest US importer/producer of Woodhound equipment. Kudo's to you guys for thinking ahead TCT
Well thank you Tony! More to come next week 😎
Thanks Tony!
Those are pretty dang cool!! I bet Dan doesn’t have small wood sales big enough yet for one.
He still has small wood, small sales problems. 😂😂
LOL
Thanks Doug!
Great idea for the partnership! Interesting to see where this goes.
Thank you sir!
Nice video Bob should be a great new machine to do the mini firewood !!
Thanks Pat!
Thank you Pat!
Can’t wait to see these at Bunyan.
Impressive to see how the bag slides on there and you can fill it quickly and easily.
Wow what an amazing machine
Thank you!
Hello Bob, Cool machine👍🇺🇸
Thanks for watching!
Most excellent!! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
Pure genius!
I couldn't definitely see someone here in the Pacific NW in getting one of these and at the same time increasing the mini-wood sale's.
pretty slick
Very cool machines!👍👍
Thank you Jeremiah! You headed to Bunyan this year?
@@BacktoBob1 No
Interesting processor Bob - Enjoy the Journey - Cheers
Thank you! Another one I heard recently is "trust the process." Have a good evening!
Great machine Bob. Dan from Back 40 Firewood needs one if these!!!
Thanks John. 😉
Very impressive machine .👍🏻🪵
Thanks for watching, Del!
That's great.
Thanks Derek!
I forgot about you and Kevin going to UK. imagine how many pizzas we could make.
Ohhh yes, that sounds good!
Can’t wait to check it out at Bunyan
See you there!
Just make the splits for kindling and pizza size splits and firewood wood size splits I could see this machine been the future you would not need any other splitter... Let me know in the comments if I'm wrong
It is quite a versatile machine. And we will have its big brother the "Splitta 400" here mid 2025 as well. Thanks for watching!
That's awesome
Thanks for watching!
Very rhythmic machine, it has a great beat! You need to find a band that can play along it when processing! The X split method is great and it is coming on many machines. Is there a patent IPO on this way to split wood?
AWEEEESOMME!
Thanks Chris!
Thank you Chris, see you at Bunyan!
Awesome machine!
Thinking.... No knots allowed - only straight grain rounds for optimum performance.
It will still split the knots, but with the X blade design it makes more of a mess with those pieces. Straight grain, equal length rounds = optimal performance.
hi there see you there , best to all john
Hey John, thanks for watching!
When is a stacking machine going to be available? Tim in northern TN.
Bob,
Maybe you get Dan at Back 40 Firewood as a demonstrator of this product.
🤫😉
Yeah @BacktoBob1 that's a good idea!
Whats the price point
Pricing varies, depending on model and options. wolferidgemfg.com/product-category/mini-wood-splitters/
This machine is a real hit you should build a machine that would feed it every body has this machine that cut and split all to make one that can do both I know you all could do it
I like the sound of that...
Is a standard firewood length/size model coming?? Stand alone units for both as well?
A stand alone unit with these smaller sizes will be ready this fall. A larger unit to handle 16" lengths is also in planning phase, but not sure how long it will take to produce at this time. Thanks!
What kind of wood are you using for kindling?
In this video I think it was aspen. A lot of people use pine or similar softwood for kindling, but you can run oak, maple, or cherry through it too without an issue.
What are the horsepower requirements for each model?
Only 15HP needed at the PTO.
Still kinda big kindling, can you adjust it any smaller ? (Diameter wise)
Yes, you can adjust down to the size of a pencil if you like. Thanks!
I would like to have one of those . But truly the wood has to be Certified USDA heat treated. To ship it to all states . So that’s just another step most of us common wood Hounds just can’t justify.
Yeah, a mini kiln or something like that would be super handy for smaller operations.
Did you previously sell Japa products?
Indeed, I worked for Metsa Machines (distributor of Japa) until October of last year. I started at Wolfe Ridge in December of 23. Thanks for watching!
Nice for pizza oven wood
Yes indeed, thanks for watching!
Make one that can handle 16 inch long round.
That would be awesome.
Great machine but running it off the pto of a fuel guzzling tractor not so great. Need to include a model that does not come with a pump also that gets plugged straight into say a skidsteer's hydraulic system.
A tractor basically idling at 1400 rpm is actually very fuel efficient in comparison to a small gas engine
More options coming, thanks for watching!
Awesome guys. But I won’t buy until it doesn’t require a tractor to operate. Buying a tractor adds a substantial cost to the unit that the little guys or growing buisness can’t take on right now.
Thanks Matt, agree 100%. Engine option is already in the works. 👍
Electric powered options soon as well
Sad that it can't make kindling smaller than 1.2 inches ? That is pretty ridiculous for a 12 k machine :)
Both units will for sure go smaller than 1.2 inches, all depends on how the initial setup is. We can cover more of that in the future videos for sure!
@@WolfeRidge that would be awesome, when i hand split my kindling i make it much smaller. thanks
