Hey guys! Actually, water is clear and appears blue because of the sky! The gasses in the atmosphere reflect the light of the sun away more for the other colors than blue, so we see a blue sky. When the sunlight hits it from different angles (sunset and dawn, for example), the light passes through the atmospheric gasses at a more oblique angle than later in the day when it is higher in the sky. So then at those times the sky will have a more orangish to reddish color. Just thought you might like to know.
