The MAJOR difference here between Candace's answers and Brett's is that Brett felt that she needed to answer every question yes or no, whereas Candace allowed room for the "gray area" and explained herself if she didn't feel it was a strictly yes or no answer. Personally I think that made a big difference in how many times Brett was "lying"...
I'll second that, because polygraph tests go on single word answers (yes/no answers). Polygraph tests are based on the question being asked (leading up to the answer), then the answer given is the point where you are telling the truth or not. Polygraph tests aren't the best way of convicting someone, because of false read outs. But in this setting it is okay, it is just abit of fun.

This is a good example showing the unreliability of lie detector tests.
This is not a lie detector, it's just for entertainment, "it's made up" as most of lie detector programs.
I hoped someone said this, even the smallest increase of blood pressure can make it read as a lie
It all depends on the examiner and asking base line questions.
Asking them basic common knowledge and things they have no reason to lie about for example name, today’s date, is it true that 2 + 2 = 4?, etc.
and also instructing the subject to lie on other questions like
Q: “is it true that 2 + 2 = 5?”
A: “yes”
Boring the subject for a long time and suddenly changing the subject to the relevant matter.
All of these techniques and more combined with a skilled examiner make lie detection more accurate.
It’s important to establish the baseline to have something to compare the critical moments to.
@@bonds927 Its true a lie detector can be beat which is why is not used in court, but I'm pretty sure it works most of the time, ie very few can beat a lie detector test. I think they can catch people something like 90% of the time.

I can't believe Candace can't see the similarity between Brett and Ben. It's the eyes and eyebrows, girl, and their faces in general. Also their relatively fast-paced speech. They could definitely pass for siblings.
i remember the first time i saw them together, they were still a bit awkward, i think Candace was still on the fence about Brett. to see them now acting like sisters, collabing regularly with such natural and funny banter is SO heartwarming, love this duo so much!!!

Probably used to see each other as rivals since they’re the only female hosts. They’re also like over 10 years apart. Candace is a millennial & Brett is Gen Z. I’m glad their relationship is a lot warmer now they’re personalities compliment each other 🥰

My dad used to train me on now to beat polygraphs since I was 7. Every 3 weeks we’d do a polygraph session for 2 hours.

I think Brett brings out the softer side of Candace. They have a big sis like sis thing going. Love to see it. Candace is brilliant and strong. Sometimes it's nice not being so intense. Playing the devil's advocate as we only have your side to paint the reputation of another. I find there's entitled attitudes from people of the general public towards anyone with a little bit of limelight, interrupting them in the middle of their lunch with family and spreading the news everywhere that they didn't immediately act like their public life was for the enjoyment of others.
@@daisiesandpandas1218 I get it, but it was during a New Years event in palm beach with under 100 people, with a very high price, we weren’t some people on the street, and it was during the event, it was wrong for her to complain to the event owners and then for us to be treated like we where an issue, just for my mom saying “Hi Candace it’s good to see you”
(It was not In an area we weren’t allowed to be in)

Seriously, by the way you act around each other and so relaxed! you can tell you work in a very good conservative place because people know you are joking or goofing around, no one takes it too serious, but you all know when to get work done too!
