@@antiqueironmediarickshaw5903 I'm wondering what area in Illinois your account happened? Bright light and absolutely no sound. It was amazing!
My first duty station in eastern New Mexico (1986-88) as a young military police officer, our base had 3 ufo events in the short year and a half I was there. 2 of which I personally eyewitnessed from my post at the back entry point. And of course we were ordered to strict silence and even told we could not talk to our friends, families or even to our coworkers, other military police. But that terrain was so flat and featureless, I’m sure the townspeople had to see the ufos too. They all took place directly over the nuclear storage silos area. As I understand it, that base is now referred to as “the Little Area 51”, so I assume the ufo events didn’t stop after I departed, and I suspect they had happened before I ever arrived there in 86.

In the summer of 1978 or 1979 I was 10 or 11. I was at a church camp with my best friend and was south of Chicago. That night we were having a bonfire and all the kids were out near it. I was laying on the ground listening to all the talk and looking at the stars. We were outside the chity lights far enough that they didn't effect the sky. Everything was clear and bright. I'm not sure how long we were there but it must have been about 10pm. As I laid there something in the sky caught my attention. As I focused on this light, the blinking was far different than what you see on an airplane or helicopter. And its movements were erratic instead of linear like a plane would move. You see while watching planes you can watch its progression in a generally straight line. This would flash across the sky from point to point, stop, reverse its direction and flash across the sky to another position. Again it would reverse and move across the sky to yet another spot. It somewhat reminded me of drawing a 5 point star with one continuous line of a pencil on paper. Now I may be a country boy and not as bright as ya'll engineers, but I do know that a man made flying machine does NOT move like this. Even at the point where the object changed direction I thought maybe a plane could be in its arc changing direction in its turn and it happened to look like a perfect stop and restart, yet the odds of that on consecutive stop and restarts over and over can't possibly happen perfectly every time. How long I watched this I can't say. It felt like all night, it caught my attention that well, but couldn't have been over several minutes. As quickly as the object arrived it simply disappeared. This is as distinct in my mind today as the day it happened 44 ish years ago. And I still can't make a conclusion as to what that even was. Some damn good stories. I am sure the real story from Georgia took place either in the southwestern or south central Georgia parts of the state, that being the part of the state where most of the commercial pecan trees are grown. Albany in the SW part of the state is ground zero for such production. They've got lots of wild hogs tearing up the landscape too. Enjoyed the Steve Lilly stories. They were "funnier than shit!" 🤣🤣
Thank you again. Well Cam, you damn well have some great writers !! All, of them did a wonderful job on what they wrote. I don't know if all of them were true, but regardless, very good stories with exceptional writing skills. I truly enjoyed them, and, also, getting to hear about the local terrain, with what they were hunting. From what I have been reading, the Hogs are just taking over the world. I think a lot of hunters give the meat to people that need food, but I would love to have it myself. My husband cooked a hog in the ground at our outdoor wedding (we live out in the woods) man it was great !! Cooked to perfection, and believe me that is an art.
“ we miss Steve and the crew ..” heck I can already vividly picture what all three of them would look like in person. Only because I have fallen down that hole what is the Steve Lilly chronicles! Lol. Waiting patiently..
These stories were awesome!! I really liked the visual background on the screen you chose!! For me, watching the screen with the design you chose helps me relax while listening to these stories ❤️ I hope you continue to use these types of backgrounds for future videos!! I hope all is well on your end, & always stay safe in all that you do!! You always do the most amazing job telling these stories even when you ramble on before, during or after the videos 😉😎 I appreciate all the hard work you put into each and every video!!
I love the Steve Lily reference. When the story got to the point of guys being out back chopping heads off of the side of Scotch, I instantly thought Steve Lilly. 😂😂

Great stories....I have been listening for quite some time...hard not to be a believer!
Had a UFO experience very like the one written about here. It was also in southern Illinois on 1-55. Other cars were also stopping to look. It had a strong spotlight and no sound. This was about 1977 so we didn't have anything like that in our arsenal. Sounds alot like whatever this man saw....
My experience was west of 55 the closest interstate would have been 74. Never did talk to any of my neighbors about it.
I'm still don’t know if it was extraterrestrial. Doesn't matter, other than stalking me the experience was kind of cool. I've always wondered.
@@antiqueironmediarickshaw5903 Me too. I was a teen and my parents, especially my dad was upset by this and it always scares you when your dad gets scared!!!!
Great backdrops Cam. TYVM 🕊 💙 🙏 🌎

I'm not ashamed of being close to my mom. She was pretty special. She started SCUBA diving after she turned 50. Unfortunately, she passed away about 7 years ago. I miss her.

Thanks buddy, Great stories, excellent accent. SW UK love ✌️
Hey man, wow, that's really groovy, I love that.
Cam love it when you put up a new video! I throughly enjoyed them, and surprise Steve Lilly showed up! Thank you so much Cam!
Where have you been ?!!!
I guessed it before it said Steve Lilly!!! Lol
wow! Steve Lilly is popping up in everyone's bigfoot encounters! he really gets around!!! 😆
“ we miss Steve and the crew ..” heck I can already vividly picture what all three of them would look like in person. Only because I have fallen down that hole what is the Steve Lilly chronicles! Lol. Waiting patiently..
Always have a good time listening to your broadcast👍💯
Hi Cam thanks for all good stories I’m going to guess it was the men in Black in the back yard?
These stories were awesome!! I really liked the visual background on the screen you chose!! For me, watching the screen with the design you chose helps me relax while listening to these stories ❤️ I hope you continue to use these types of backgrounds for future videos!! I hope all is well on your end, & always stay safe in all that you do!! You always do the most amazing job telling these stories even when you ramble on before, during or after the videos 😉😎 I appreciate all the hard work you put into each and every video!!
Love getting these notifications of a new Dixie Crytid video..keep up the excellent work Cam...Love From Fiji 🇫🇯🇫🇯🇫🇯
Fiji? Really? Whoa! Thanks for the comment.
Loved this one!!!
Enjoy your trip, hope it's for fun & relaxation 💖
I love the Steve Lily reference. When the story got to the point of guys being out back chopping heads off of the side of Scotch, I instantly thought Steve Lilly. 😂😂
