Well, if nothing else, I learned about keloids today.

Scars and Physical deformities can be mentally damaging, especially for Women, since there's this pre-conception that woman have to look "Perfect" to be desired, which is utter BS in my opinion. Ayumu was able to look past her Keloids, and see her as beautiful, which was likely the first time she ever felt desired, given her Ex's comments before she met Ayumu. While I'm sure Sota would have accepted her too, Ayumu was the one who treated her as a person, so that's why she fell for him.
Shout-out to my Co-Star, Rebeeca Danae, who always delivers a great performance. Always a pleasure to be working with such a talented VA.

Paul Hikari always sounds natural for his roles, Angelo sounds laid back, but you put a lot of passion into your roles whether it be protagonist or antagonist. And yes, that's a compliment.

The only thing I didn't like was when the mc thought she should be with the friend instead of him because they look good together. I really dislike that trope and made me think less of him. Will he do it again at a later time because he think he doesn't deserve her? The friend didn't say anything and he still thought that. Next time someone maybe say he doesn't deserve her. Will he agree and leave her? 🙁
I really like the whole story of him likning her even with her problem but that really soured everything and in the end gave a unsatisfied feeling of him don't deserving her. It could have been one of the best manga dub but now it just... ok.

I don't understand the problem.
I know that there are some cultures who view the slightest blemish as a disfigurement that makes the whole body ugly and gross. There are even societies today who see a blemish like hers as a sign of evil.
But there's nothing wrong with her. So what if she has a red mark that runs across her chest and down her left arm. She's cute, sweet, kind, and an otherwise happy woman. I'd be ecstatic if such a woman accepted me with all of my ugliness (which is how women see me)
Looked it up, keliods are not only change in color but also raised glossy areas that are almost like a boil. I get the idea how that would destroy confidence.

Her keloid could be a bit of a turn on for him. After all, not only are her private parts for his eyes alone, so too is he keloid mark.

Keloids can range from slightly protruding red scars to straight up looking like someone stuck a whole arm under your skin and left it there, even the mildest cases are quite striking and thinking that this is a hereditary disease would mean you'd pass it on to your children so there's that too.
