As the legend Alex Moukala said, "it's not the expensive gadgets and libraries that makes you a better composer. It's your own skill." Good job making the most of this DAW.
Amazing, reminds me of old school Micro or Paul van dyke. Brings back so many memories of the late 90's and early 2000's when my friends and I wasted so much gas traveling from state to state going to Raves for years.
HOW IN TF do you hear this man? Do you just keep building on the track or do you have an idea of every little sound already and just have to find the right sound in the app and throw it on the track? GREAT JOB!!
Hi! This track is awesome! I also purchased "KORG Gadget for Nintendo Switch", and I wonder what kind of capture card did you use to create that screen recording... Thank you!
Wow this is really good. I just got Korg and I'm adjusting pretty quick (Have already made a song in 6 minutes but it's basic as fuck) I was wondering how you recorded this? Cause I'd like to upload my songs once I'm done. Seriously though good job on this song
thanks! I use an Elgato Game Capture HD to record these videos. you could also connect the headphone jack of your Switch to the line in jack on your PC if you have one. personally, I record a lossless video of the song using OBS and then extract the audio from the recorded video to get the best possible quality. works decently well. the lack of an "export" function is one of the biggest drawbacks to Gadget unfortunately
Nice track. This song is really good... has Orbital feelings in places, and they are my favourite electronic music acts. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on Korg Gadget for Switch. I have no real experience of making electronic music though, are there tutorials to help? Also, how did you export the track as I have heard that it's not easy.
I've seen a few tutorials out there, Hank Astral has a good one. the game's manual was also pretty helpful to me when I was learning. as for exporting, there's no way to do that on Switch. the easiest way to "export" is to record from the Switch's headphone output jack. I happen to have an Elgato Game Capture HD, so I record a lossless video using that and then extract the audio from there to get my music.
@@nozua Thanks, will check this out. Had a look at the manual but its bare bones. I'll need to look at tutorials that explain the nuts and bolts of creating electronic synth music.
I think you're talking about automation. if you press X > go to Automation from the piano roll screen, you can automate the output level or whatever you want. it's called "master level" on some gadgets.
@@mellow3770 I'd been producing for 6 months when I made this. if you think you would like making music, I would recommend the game. it can be discouraging/overwhelming at first if you don't know much about music. that's how I was when I first used Gadget, it took me many hours of playing around to start to get the hang of it and understand how everything works. once you get past that the sky's the limit really. I started using Gadget with zero prior knowledge, so I would say it's very beginner friendly. you'll also learn a lot about the basics of music
@@mellow3770 😅 I’ve been tinkering myself for years & I have gadget myself & this dude blows me away. The drum rolls are a bitch to do on iPhone lol I always say I’ll do them later but I never do 🤦🏻♂️ great track especially on the switch with no ability to use midi gear.

I use an Elgato capture card and OBS as my recording software.

good ^^ i'm fan
How do you record increasing audio on a track? I don't know how to use the audio level screen I mean.

How long have you been producing for?
I’m really contemplating getting the game now but I’m not that nice 😭
