With like a 1 or a 2 or just different symbols. It'll be a little extra work to edit every single card art, but it will definitely help in the end since you won't be confused as to what card you need to flip it to for what deck.

      @draketheduelist 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been doing this for a while, refining my process more and more. The problem is (and this might just be me, but...) as soon as you feel the card in its sleeve, you can tell that something is wrong. It's too thick, too thin, bends too much, doesn't bend enough, doesn't bend the right way, and a myriad of other things could happen that can convey more information than a player (or worse, an opponent whom you offered a cut) should reasonably have access to. Just about the only way to handle this without taking a sharpie to a basic land is to have the proxies professionally made.

      @@gausav9574 Probably not, depending on who's cutting your deck and how. Like a lot of MTG players, I prefer to reduce the potential avenues of variance as much as possible, so I'd probably do something like this.
      I've gotten to the point where I don't proxy anything under $2 (or up to $5 if I can order it; the gas to get to the FLGS is getting to be more of a factor than it should be...). The printer ink costs more than the card at that point. This might be an ideal way to handle some of my more expensive "I-have-the-real-one-in-another-deck" style of proxies, especially if I accumulate enough of them.

      There's very little anyone have to do in order for htis kind of thing to be completely legal and fine and good, and in no way breach of copyright or trademark laws. All you have to do is to not claim they are actual WotC products, and to avoid using any of the trademarked or copyrighted images. The images you want to avoid are the land symbols, logos, legal blurbs (like the one covered by black in the video).
      What can get you into trouble is if you claim these cards are WotC products and try to use them in a sanctioned tournament or sell/trade them while claiming they are official WotC products. You can sell them, as long as you are up front about them not being actual mtg cards.
      If you want ot be really careful, you make sure to change the art on the cards to be public domain license. I'm planning to make a cube using medieval manuscript images that are owned by the British Library and released as Public Domain as the art. That way, I get a themed cube, while also not infringing upon the original artist of the card.
