Can u please clarify a point. So u will get paid only for the week u attended at the patient. For example 500 £/week then if u worked 2 weeks per month u will receive 1000£ in total only ? And for overseas workers we still need a house to rent right? Thank you in advance
Yes. I am a Live-in-Carer at the moment. I get paid for the week I work. Payment is made once a month. Since I do not take Holidays, I get paid for the standard 28 days. Plus £40/week food allowance.
@@rinchhensherpa6972oh wow , so is it possible to work 1week and take few days off ? and if one is on sponsorship, there is every possibility that I won’t be able to meet up with the monthly salary threshold right ?
Thanks for the insight into live in job. I am struggling with what to record on the video that will sell me to prospective employers. Please can you help. Thandi
I have worked as live in carer and I regret my decision so much, awful conditions ,living in somebody else house is really hard you never have your own place working as live in carer, you are on 24/24 hours but you are paid just for 10, the employee pay you so low, you have no life, you are doing the work that nobody else wants, maybe is ok for somebody who comes from third world but otherwise don’t take it
Thank you for making this video xx
