    Hi Susan, Just watched this tutorial and found your instructions very clear and I was able to watch in detail what you were doing to make this bracelet. I enjoy your up beat attitude both in this tutorial and on TV. Not sure "why" other viewers had trouble SEEING what you were doing. I went to full screen to view and viewed it clearly. Thanks again!!!

    Great video. I liked your tip about “nestling” your pearl by making a little space for it to sit against the leather at around 7:59. It really does look better that way. Lots of great info.

    Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful technique. You explained everything really clearly and the bracelet looked fabulous. Swoon!! 😛😜🤪 Since I first watched your video I've made 2 bracelets/necklaces and I'm hooked! I've watched so many tutorials on jewellery making that I've ended up switching off in frustration because I'm left handed, so I can't do a lot of the projects that are taught online. But I found it easy to follow your video and make my bracelets from left to right. Thank you again. I've subscribed and I can't wait to see more of your tutorials. Love, Amanda in Australia xxx ❤🤍💙

    Hi Susan! So glad to see your videos on TH-cam. The background music was distracting, particularly over your very soft and sometimes rapid speech; I also agree with the others here that the camera angle needs to be closer. It would be even better to use two cameras to take care of the blind spots, I can;t wait to try this way cool bracelet.

    Thank you for the tutorial on a really neat technique. My first suggestion for when you are filming is to use a gem/pearl in a contrasting color from your background working area. It is hard to see sometimes what you are doing. The only thing I can see on this necklace is at the ends the leather is sticking out where you attach the clasp. Is there a good way to hide that leather and still have a sturdy hold?

  • @fanciflower

    Great video but-you need to watch those wire ends when you’re cutting them. The little pieces were flying every time you snipped. Put a finger over it to stabilize it so you don’t end up taking an eye out or stepping on a wire end barefoot. I’m sure it would be painful to a pet as well. Thanks for the cool tutorial on the purl bracelet. I like the way you bent the wire so the pearl didn’t slip. You’ve given me a lot of ideas on making these with different beads and cords. 🤘🏼

    • @JewelSchool
      @JewelSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure! The leather she is using is a 1.5mm leather and it's soft and round. Suede might be flat instead of round, but you can get it in a smaller size. Just be aware when you are making the ends, it might be a bit stiffer than the cord she is using. Let us know how it goes!
