    Just finishing the warlord Landsknecht Starter Army, and looking at possibly picking this up. Don't know a lot on the period but eager to learn!

    This must be the last period before the dreaded lacing gets added to the uniforms? Great for speed painting.

    Must , however disagree with your decision to make thinner and foil-like those nice looking and stout 1788 LCS type saber's blades. I'd want either a Japanese made katana, either the 1788 and/ or the 1796 LCS sabres. Of course they had not been invented and issued in the 1701- 1714 time period these figures represent. An old Polish Winged- Hussars sabre would suit me if I had to fight for my life.
