A carefully curated line-up of wonderfully talented local & regional musicians will perform in the intimate setting of our live room. This unique event is live-streamed in front of our live studio audience .

With their upbeat anthems, Whitby-based band @sunbeam2224 has been building a strong following across the UK in recent months. From supporting the Kaiser Chiefs to two consecutive number 2 positions in the iTunes alternative chart, they’re definitely ones not to be missed! Expect to find yourself bouncing along from the first note and singing along by the end of each song. Sunbeam are regulars at Beckview Studios. They have busily been recording several recent singles, including Northern Town, Heaven's Glow, Give Me Something, Glory Days, and others, produced by Chris Jones (Engineer/Producer, Beckview Studios).
Sunbeam will be sharing the stage with accomplished Country and Americana singer/songwriter Phil Hooley whose unique tone has a rich 'Dylan-esque grit.' Phil's songs are lyrically driven and thought-provoking. He has an easy stage presence and has received many plaudits for his live shows, it's no wonder he is a favourite on the festival circuit! Phil will be accompanied by Pete Norman on double bass.
Joining them both is the first winner of our Live Lounge Competition (in April 2024), @GemmaGates . Gemma is a Leeds-based songwriter whose music focuses on bold melodies, rich harmonies and personal lyricism. Originally from Ireland and influenced by artists like Laura Marling and the Staves, Gemma's songwriting explores alternative perspectives on the folk traditions of her birthplace. She will be performing at our live lounge alongside her talented band; Felix Bertulis-Webb (Keys and Vocals), and Jenni Baillie (Fiddle and Vocals).
