I came here the second i heard the news, RIP Jimmy

Same dude. RIP 😢😢😢

Ending of Eddy's video: I was suffering that night, but for some reason Ted was finally having fun

and he forced poor edward at gunpoint both times
I don’t really think Margaritaville and Rainforest Cafes are really “obscure”
@@saucy_dragon1566 compared to other chain resturants like McDonald's, Burger King etc. They are much more obscure. Also if you dont live near one of those resturants them there is a good chance you dont know about it.

I have probably watched all 4 of these videos (the two rainforest and eddies) over 15 times by now and i still get a kick out of the cadence that ted records his videos with.
Eddy surprising Ted with that Rainforest Cafe trip was so unexpectedly heartwarming, they are so sweet to each other. (I will forever hope that was a genuine surprise and not a bit)
genuinely teared up a bit for some reason lol
They probably recorded the reenactment of the actual surprise
I hope people are not thinking this is real. Obvy scripted. No hate tho, just adore the script writing
@@amayreka While likely that it's scripted, Eddy did put an anecdote in his video saying it was a genuine surprise.
I kid you not when I say that was a genuine and full on surprise. I had NO idea he was gonna suggest we do that. That’s why I added “I had no idea what this was for” below during that shot because it was not some elaborate bit.
*ted: rainforest cafe*

How ted can make me watch 45 minutes of going to all of the margiritavilles in the United States, getting drunk, and staring at giant flip flops, and listening to jimmy buffet on a loop, is beyond me. Like how. HOW?!?
bc it's well edited and funny, like any good documentary

They used to have one in Galveston (same city with the volcano Rainforest Cafe). Now they replaced it with this german restaurant.

I didn’t realize two guys could make two completely different videos doing the same exact thing. Kudos.

If anyone was wondering, the song playing during the end of the video is called Con i baci miei by Brice Davoli

I feel like Teddy and Ed are like one person that got split into two polar opposites. As soon as one is upset the other is happy, and vice versa.
My God, that ending with Jimmy squeezing himself between the various Rainforest Cafe characters along the horizon was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
18:14 I actually stayed at one of those “cottages”. I remember them being VERY cramped.
I’m excited for 10 years from now, when we get to watch Ted and Eddie’s dawning existential horror at realizing that they have dedicated a full year of their finite lifespans to road-tripping the entire continental US and Canada visiting every location of a bad chain theme restaurant.
im sure theyd rather have road tripped across their country together, creating a collage of moments that equates to a fun story about their differences and exploring the world than sitting at their los angeles home making youtube videos. out of all the things that they might dawn on this is something i personally would be glad i did

In all seriousness, great content, and I look forward to everything y'all do, whether it's every X restaurant round 3, or anything else that captures your interest
Can I just say how incredibly well-made this is as a legitimate buddy comedy roadtrip film, despite being just a TH-cam vlog about an inherently silly concept? It hits all the plot beats and character development of an actual movie, and the end ties everything together (the reconciliation calling back to Ted's constant wish to go back to the Rainforest Cafe! Jimmy joining the rainforest guardian angels at the end!) I was honest-to-god a little bit emotional, plus the cinematography and editing is just utterly gorgeous to look at. That's the power of Margaritaville, baby!
That’s what film school gets you
I was looking for a comment like this, the storytelling is immaculate
I'm not joking when I say that this would be a good plot for an actual movie.
I love how Ted is always to hyped to eat the same food for almost a month while Eddie is on the brink of d3ath. Truly a golden retriever and a black cat go on a road trip energy
schlatt is someone that instantly derails anything he comes into contact with his aura of "i was put on this earth without my permission so im gonna make it everyone elses problem" is astounding

margaritavile is so intrinsically linked to florida family vacations as a child i was physically shocked to learn they existed outside the state boundaries

He could totally direct a Harold and Kumar type comedy around this concept

watching ted come to the realization of his feelings about themed restaurants in the middle of mall of america is so surreal when you live near there
My favorite part about this whole thing is that when Ted and Eddy are in their own videos they're like "I hate this shit".
But when they're featured in each others videos, it's like "Ted seems to be enjoying this a lot" and "Eddy is dancing and having a great time".
I loved too how Eddy added some meaning to it in his video when he blurted out how him and Ted never being on the same page was down to them being different people and different perspectives. I think that really tied all 4 videos together really nicely.
